Overhyped Pokemon?

Bloody SNORLAX. Now I actually love Snorlax, but no matter who you ask, if you ask someone their favourite Pokemon (Someone that doesn't actually watch or play Pokemon) they'll say Snorlax. No idea why they do but it's like a default answer. Oh, or Jigglypuff.

Anyway, Articuno is way over-hyped.
It has a 4X weakness to rock type moves so Stealth Rock would inflict serious damage.

Hello, the starters?! xD
All of the starters are overused (amongst my friends, at least), and they rarely give the other Pokemon a chance. Power-leveling isn't going to be the best idea, y'know?
I would spend hours trying to convince them that a well-rounded team is better than one with a Level 100 starter, and everything else at Level 20. It just doesn't make sense. *shakes head*

Pikachu's been the mascot of the franchise since its inception, I think it's absolutely fine that it's overhyped. I agree that Charizard is overhyped but I love Charizard so that's fine by me too :P
The Pokemon I think is way overdone is Gallade. Don't get me wrong, it's a great Pokemon, but EVERYBODY loves it, it's in half the teams out there. In my experience, anyway.

Pikachu, it's basically the icon for all Pokemon and it's overused. For a lot of people it's their favorite Pokemon, and frankly, it's weak and useless :<
