I love Pokemon parralels~

I like trying to think of what the Super Dragon-style Parrallel will be in Isshu, to follow Dragonite-Tyranitar-Salamence-Garchomp.

I don't mind the passed down Pokemon themes, for example Pidgey > Hoothoot > Tailow > Starly > Mamepato.

I personally don't think there are many connections between the currently announced Pokemon of Isshu and the older Pokemon. Okay, Shimama and Ponyta maybe, but certainly not Hihidaruma and Mankey. Where the hell are you guys getting that idea from?

I hope they don't create too many Parallel Pokemon. So far it's looking good.

Edit: ^ We don't NEED any parallels. But it is cool to have a few.

I want a Vulpix/Growlithe parallel... except an Ice type. :)

Chiraamii = Buneary.
Facts:
They both are owned by the professors, and are used to introduce the player to Pokemon.
Both are Normal-type.

Speculations:
They both will be available after the first few gyms.
People believe that Chiraamii will have one evolution.

It's very likely IMO.

no gyarados and milotic are just examples of parralels because they both evolve from weak fish into strong serpentine monsters..

parallels are just similar pokemon

Hihidaruma could be a parallel to Mankey. They have similar looks if you pinch your eyes a little. Both are based on Primates.

And Absol parallel looks fun to get. Maybe it would have the Ability Unlucky? xD

Oh yeah. Ninetales and Arcanine aren't really parallels if I remember.

Yes, and one of them is based off of black-face comedians, and the other is based off of mimes (white-face comedians).

I agree with what someone above said about having a Shinx parallel. I love it when there is an electric type found early in the game with 2 evolutions. It makes it feel like the starter trio has become a starter quartet. We've only gotten it with Mareep (and Flaffy is really ugly) and Shinx. So I'm hoping for a Gen V. parallel for that.
