I once caught a Trapinch in my Sapphire game that knew Arena Trap,
soon I trained it into a Vibrava, and eventually into a Flygon.
43 hours after the Pokemon League I was walking in the grass (With Flygon as the first Pokemon in my team) and encountered Latias. Then before Flygon could launch its DragonBreath, Latias escaped as if there was no Arena Trap!
Also, I trained a Bagon (with Rock Head) to learning Double Edge, and it was fantastic! But when it became a Salamence it began to apply recoil damage,
BECAUSE OF THAT DUMB, USELESS INTIMIDATE!
