    What do you miss most about Pokemon? And what do you enjoy most about it now?

    Well I miss just the hype and the acceptance that Pokemon garnered back when I was younger. I miss knowing that it'd be totally cool for me to whip out my gameboy and play Pkmn Red and battle people and gloat about my team. Nostalgia, I guess. Now I'm 18 and well alot of 18 year olds I know won't touch the game.

    I guess the only thing I like now is that it IS still alive and the games are pretty cool..

    I miss[ed] the day/night system from the G/S/C games. I was soo glad they brought it back for D/P.
    Another thing I miss is the creativity. While there are some very good/creative D/P Pokemon, there's also a lot of dumb ones. And there's especially a lot of dumb third gens. I just feel that it's lost a step in coming up with cool Pokemon

    Things i'm happy and not happy:

    NOT PLEASED:
    1.Bringing back Day/Night system
    2.Too slow

    PLEASED:
    1.The touch screen
    2.Battle graphics

    * The hype has gone
    * Pokémon isn't as popular as it used to be
    * The movies aren't as special like they used to be

    +
    * Touch screen
    * Wi-Fi!

    I always liked the Day and Night feature, and that exists in both some of the earlier and some of the newer games, for one thing. The main thing that impacts me about Pokemon is that you used to be accepted for playing it - you were the coolest kid in the school if you had one. Now it's socially unacceptable. I don't tell anybody I play, except about seven people who all play as well (most of whom are surprisingly older). But yes, that's what I used to like and don't like now. What I do like about now is that there are more Pokemon to create strategies with. Although I like the older Pokemon better, it was hard to create the perfect team back then.

    I miss the style of legendaries.1st and 2nd gen lept it up until evil 3rd gen...all the legendaries turned robotic and lost they'er animal touch.

    Honestly, I pretty much dropped everything about what seems good now. Its a load of bull, IMO.

    The past was much better, for every aspect that was lost in the now modern games.

    I agree with Terry_555!

    And I still get a good feeling out of playing old Red or Yellow. It's not as plastic as the R/S/E for example. It's... more genuine.
