When I use it, I just saw "owned", I think the other use of it is just weird and doesn't make too much sense. Pawned, wtf? XD

well most of the ppl say pwnt or pwn ...
i never saw any1 sayin 'pawn', dude where u gettin this? lmao

I dont use any of those, I just say own(ed), plain and simple. I want to be different

I assume that the "p" is silent, so I just say "owned".

Heck when I hear people at school says "poon't" (which yes, some people say apparently), it makes me want to gouge their eyes out.

I believe it is pwn.

I don't use it at all but I do know a bit about the lingo that people use while on the net. Still I pawn things at the pawn shop to get some extra cash. I don't even know what pown is.

I don't often use the term, but I pronounce it as "Pawn." even though it's really "Own" with a P. But "Pown" just sounds weird to me.

they aren't meant to be said at all. if someone said that in real life i'd probabally woop their ass just for being lame.

I say "Pwn" Whats Pown anyway? O.O

Neither. Who cares? I think I'd look stupid if I said pwn, pawn, or pown in real life.

Pawn reminds me of chess, too.

"Pawn" is too light... doesn't show any real power or dominance. And being a chess player myself, it also reminds me of those weak little pieces of crap you sacrifice.

But now "Pone" (better example than "pown")... that's got the hard "o" sound, and it just sounds funnier. And I only ever use the term when in a comical sense.

Not to mention that "pwn" is a derivative of "own", with a "p" added to it. So, pretty much, this silly integral of "own" is pronounced "pone".

Yea 'cause pawns are useless and are meant to be sacrificed. Powned is much like ownage and utter domination.

If they are pawns you are giving them an excuse for bring lame.
