Pbr Gamestop Tournament!!! 7/21

the idiot hu said it was shaymin was wrong. it was a stupid bookmark. It wasn't even shiny!
 
you get 5 bookmarks for going. i went to the wheaton mall store (this was the only one with enough people). i went with a game using the name "Chase" in case anyone else wnt there. i got to the last battle, out last pokemon were me: mewtwo, and him: garchomp. i was trying to hit ice beam, my habd slipped onto thunderbold, causing me to lose. i got a poketopia shirt -.-
 
Well, I came in second place when this guy's Garchomp killed me off. Wow, you should've been there. There were interesting matchups like Mew+Rayquaza vs. Buneary+Prinplup. 8 year old in a red shirt vs. huge nerd (8 year old won). I beat the 8 year old and got into the finals with this 8-10 year old (trust me, he was pro-ish. Enough said about that~) with a blue shirt. Such close matches and they all applauded me when I left with a Poketopia T-shirt like anemos said...

yeah, i have some real respect there now, but it would have been nice to get the game too. (ist prize was a copy of PBR , it was 4v4 singles at my location.

At my location, it was 4 on 4 doubles. And yes, I could've gotten Battle Revolution as well... thiiiiiis close *points to ant*!

i just came from gs i lose because my friends palkia didn't attack first it was my last pokemon... the person i battle was from this site too lol his name is CEMA..

Dude, in that tournament, I SCHOOLED their Dialgas and Palkias. No problem, just use a Life Orb'ed Blizzard to them little buggers *sweeps 'em off the competition*!

You got to fight my regular opponent Cema? um, he is very good, though I have beaten him before
 
Well, I came in first, I'm proud of myself. Although, I'm not proud that I totally pwned a 7 year old girl in the Final battle. This seven year old girl went up a against her own brother and a 37 year old geek in pajamas who named all of his pokemon "Batman". I ended up giving the game to the little girl and the t-shirt to my friend who came in third. Plus, I already have the game. Hey, my hats off to any seven year old who can EV train a pokemon team. (FYI: She had a killer Gallade with swords dance). I'm just satisfied and glad to have had fun.

no tourney over here but people showed up at the store i fought with a few middle aged nerds,some little kids..i owned em all used scizor all day lucky for me their fire types sucked lol and my Scizor is only lv.85
 
I lost to geek because of his metagross.
 
you had grown men in pajamas at your location? i just had one college age guy who looked like he didnt eat enough, and a few people my age (along with the expected small kids)

His Trainer name was Rapist. So, all the parents got mad and he just told the manager (when he approached him) that it was pronounced "RAPP-IST" not "RAPE-IST". We all knew that was bullshit, so he had to trade all his Pokemon to one of his friend's DS. And yes there was TONS of little kids.
 
Why didnt they ask him to leave? real-world standing or not, thats not a name to take to a public contest.

If i was the manager of the tournament I would've kicked that guy out.
 
I think we all would have kicked him out.
 
that's for sure. When I was doing the tournament someone had an english shaymin. "I dont think shaymin has even come out in japan yet." I thought when I say it. "It must be a hack" It was kinda crazy.
 
i found out something today. the only thing that triggers a bad egg is unnatural stats or moves, nothing else.
