England was always allowed to forfeit, but wolf "forfeiting" was due to his lack of internet and my interpretation was that he wanted a replacement anyway...England with 6 centers in 1903 would be insane to admit defeat lol. Germany forfeited because the great Reich has no chance of winning really.
 
I'm jumping into the Atlantic with Germany too. Diplomacy has really lost its luster (that or I just loved Austria far too much). I noticed how much I wasn't into this game even after the perfectly executed German stab, which should've been a boost of fun and confidence, if anything! It just wasn't the same, "oh I got to log on for diplomacy! :D" but rather "oh, I got to log on for diplomacy =/" ... the frustrating war of words with Anti really shot down my interest in the game and confidence in general too. (though I never did truly get to put my thought out there, IM is terrible for compiling well-thought stuff) I'm struggling to get on PC anyway and I probably would've had to quit down the line to support my recently paraplegic dachshund regardless. :(

And as for my "terms of forfeit." Land completely free, no one else should get to decide what happens to the remains of my country; I don't want any replacement, just free to go down in flames like a good ol' fashioned French surrender.

I'm going with the bandwagon, I want to forfeit for multiple reasons (including some of what Beachy stated) and I'm just tired of this game in general. I might come back in a future game, but it depends.
 
I think I'm done with this too...I was getting the "this sucks" vibe from BeachBoy and I feel it myself. This game is not holding my interest so well. With Germany out and three countries expressing a lack of interest to keep this going, I don't think this can last. But if the remaining players wish to keep going, I'll continue to post updates. That's for you guys to decide.

That being said, I'll probably have us play another one of these games sometime in the future, just not anytime soon.
 
It doesn't not matter to me. If you want to finish this then we can. If you don't I'm fine with that as well.
 
Lol I love how I quit, and then everyone else quits. But yeah, this game did not have the same magic that the first one did =/
