People talking too much in pokemon

When I play a game the first two or three times, I'll read the text to see if I missed anything the last time. After that, I just press B.

If you've been playing Pokemon as long as I have you get used to all the excessive talking but if it's one thing I can't stand it's those dang tutorials they give at the beginning like when dawn/lucas shows you around sandgem town and how to catch a Pokemon. There should really be an option to skip this.

I only find it annoying when they give you a chance to refuse an explanation...

...and then tell you anyway.

Well, I used to just needlessly mash the A button needlessly with the text speed on fast. After a while, I started to read what people
sad, low and behold, some of them actually gave useful advice or a humorous phrase such as the "shorts kid". I don't find it as much of
a nuisance anymore, although I remember Cheren and Bel unleashed some pseudo-endless lectures on me while I played White.
It could be worse though, it's not like we have Kaepora Gaebora.

i have the habit to talk with everybody in the game since i played the first pokemon game XD

I guess the classic Pokemon games have less characters talking, which was less annoying. Today, when I tried out Platinum, I kept pressing A, so I can ignore what the person was saying pointlessly. lol "Uhh, can you like.. shut up now?"

Try playing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for GBA. Moving book, that is.

"At least we don't have Kaepora Gaebora"
AMEN!

I've always liked to read what the trainers said. The people in Erika's gym are funny in the old Red and Blue.
"Are you the Peeping Tom?"
