Pet peeves

I'm not trying to change his point of view. If I don't like a certain opinion, my opinion is that I don't like it. It's called disagreeing with someone. Not having your texts returned immediately is irritating to OP, that's his opinion. Being irritated by someone not answering your texts immediately is immature, that's my opinion. Opposite opinions, what a concept, eh? Which, as I recall, is quite common on "the Internet". Welcome to reality, love.
However, nobody accused you of trying to change it. Y'know, since we're speaking of reality 'n all.

Many of my pet peeves are from other's lists but here are mine (it's a brief list):
-People talking/whispering during a lecture/theater/movie. I find it utterly distracting and rude, if you've come to talk then you shouldn't be here (I can understand talking quietly to people if you need help during a lecture or something). Also, cell phones, flash photography and crying kids are the worst.
-People who make sounds during eating.
-People who use a lot of paper towel just to dry their hands. It's possible to dry them with one or two and let them hand dry later, being in a dry climate helps.
-Distracted driving.
-People who text and walk.
-Bad grammar in posts, emails and texts. Such as people saying "your cute" instead of "you're cute".
-People who throw recyclables in the trash.
-When I give stuff to people, they never give it back.
-People Who Type Like This. Why Is This Necessary To Capitalize Every Word In Your Sentence?
-Smoking in general.
-Pencil breaking while I draw.
-Chewing gum. I have TMJ and when someone chews, it's like they are taunting me since I can no longer chew gum.
-Those who don't listen to you.

That site that was linked really helped~

Oh, where do I begin...

- When somebody talks down to me/belittles me, and proceeds to wink at me as if it's cool. It's not.
- People who chew really loudly with their mouths open.
- When I light up a cigarette and somebody makes the effort to walk over to me and criticise/insult me for smoking. You came over here, dude. I was isolated, by myself, not causing any harm to anybody except me.
- People who constantly update their Facebook profile with pictures of them drinking. One or two is fine, if you have an entire album called "Weekends" or something and it's dedicated solely to you drinking, you might have a problem and you might need to get some help.
- People who ask me why I don't like a certain song/movie/style of music, and when I give a reason proceed to question it.
- Short-tempered people that you can't have a conversation with (or, my dad).
- My roommates girlfriend walking into our house without knocking like it's her house.

I mean there's more, but they're just the things I can list off the top of my head.

- When I wear anything video game related and my family always says "oh it's Pokemon" like no just leave me alone and don't make me feel weird
- People that bring young children out to eat in really nice places...find a babysitter...
- When my fingers get dirty or wet
- People that play their instrument out of tune, get called out on it, and still don't fix it
- People that play their horn when leadership is talking
- When people get salty for no reason!!!
- When spit seeps through the keys on my sax and gets all over my fingers, especially when it's cold
- When people at a table are needy and ask for something every time I go to the table
- When people ask me for coffee and there's already a coffee station set up and I'm CLEARLY swamped
- When people ask for knives and 1. didn't actually need them and 2. don't end up using them
- People that get really mad over small mistakes that can easily be fixed and worked out
- When cat/dog hair gets all over me

Edit: Speaking of people being SALTY!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. STOP BEING SALTY OVER NOTHING. YOU'RE BEING A PET PEEVE OF MINE.

But seriously guys, this is a really simple topic that doesn't need an argument about opinions and the internet and reality. Let's not be the pet peeves we're all claiming to hate, please and thank you!

I was on public transit this morning and guy sat next to me with his legs in a wide stance like he was overcompensating. Not only that he was reading a newspaper, so arms fully stretched out. He didn't seem to mind that we was elbowing me every few seconds.

So, everything about that jerk is a pet peeve for me.

My third reply here...

People who crack their joints. I can tolerate a one-off, nothing constant or repetitive. Maybe you're stretching and something pops. Whatever.

There's a new guy where I work and he will periodically get up and do some weird movement and just crack every bone in his body in one swoop. Several times a day in fact.

I cannot stand it. It so gross and annoying and irksome and uggggh. Make it stop please
