Woah, big resemblance. Not to mention their eyes, bit of hair, round faces, and mustache going on. Now that was a coincidence...also, they're both males.
 
At first I thought Jellicent was patterned after him, but I saw Mrs. Jellicent. She looks nothing like I have ever seen before. LOL.

maybe they made the gender difference to hide the fact that they really patterned Mr. Jellicent with Mr. Pringles.

As for the topic, I couldn't love it more! It is a shame that they're no longer Ghost type as it's an incredibly cool type, but the new typings (especially Heat- and Wash-Rotom's) have given them some incredible new powers! Wash-Rotom is an absolute beast in competitive battles and an absolute pleasure to use :3 Although a couple of the typings really didn't help it much, namely Fan-Rotom! A Flying type with Levitate? Useful ;)
 
I agree with everything you said. Even though we said goodbye to the forms, it had been a good thing they acquired many new things to play with, like how Rotom-W had STAB Hydro Pump. Yup, he made it to the top list alright.

it would look like a fat umbreon if you painted rings on it \(O-O)/
