5th Gen Phenomenon

This was a mechanic in B/W & B2/W2 in which certain Pokemon appear randomly through over-world effects. The four phenomenon types are: springy grass, dust clouds, shadows, and rippling water, There are certain Pokemon you can only get through this phenomenon mechanic, such as Audino in shaky grass. You can find much rarer Pokemon from this method than normal, as well, such as a wild Stouland, or Dragonite! This mechanic, however, is different in other games after it...

What did you think of the Phenomenon mechanic? I think it really helped bring more immersion to the Pokemon world.

Good for grinding because Audinos, and it's interesting to find some "rare" evos like Leavanny in the grass sometimes. Overall I think it's a pretty okay mechanic, but not one of the aspects I'd praise the most about gen 5.
