Piercings

I'm not one for piercing although my parents really want me to get earrings I don't really want to get them.
Being honest I don't have anything against them or any type of piercings but they're not my ideal thing
 
I am not bothered by piercings at all. As a matter of fact, I have always wanted to get a lip ring piercing, but I have always decided against it, because I knew I would regret it in the future.
 
In the past, I openly flirted with the idea of getting a piercing, but I was never completely sure if I wanted to get one. I'm concerned with the cleaning of a piercing, not in the pain of the actual piercing.

For those of you with piercings, is it really that much of a hassle to clean them? I've assumed that it would be something that would take up a lot of my time, and end up not really being worth it.
 
I don't think I'm going to get anything pierced, but I'm not going to stop other people from going out and doing it. I don't find them inherently attractive, unless they're done very tastefully (with emphasis on the 'very'), but people gotta do what they wanna do.

This is pretty much my thoughts, 'cept I can deal with belly button piercings since I know so many people who have one, haha. Though I can't say I find it all that attractive.

I have no piercings and have absolutely no desire to get any. ._.; In my area, people pierce their daughters' ears as early as like 2 years old so when I moved here, people thought it was so weird that I didn't have my ears pierced. Even then when people kept pressuring me to do it because it was so abnormal not to have them, I had zero interest in it.
 
some people pull off piercings, some don't. they're fine by me. i'm not one to dress myself with accessories but i've thought about getting my septum pierced. everyone i've talked to about it say i'd pull it off well because in their eyes i'm dainty and adorable, so with the septum piercing comes a bit of an appealing irony. i think my aberrant/stormy side is apparent enough to give that vibe off already, though.
 
I had one of my ears pierced when I was like, 10. But yeah, I wouldn't now though. And honestly, I don't mind it as long as it isn't overdone, and trust me, I've seen loads of people who've over done it.
 
I think piercings are gross and I hope I never get any.
 
I'm one of those people who thinks you shouldn't pierce anything on your body except your ears. I also think the small stud in the nose occasionally is nice, too. But, anything else is a major turn-off. Also, ear gauging is another turn-off and looks unattractive. But when it comes to nose, lip, tongue, nipple, or anywhere else... *shudders*
 
I'm perfectly ok with piercings, and I plan on eventually getting my ear pierced eventually. I don't think I'd want my nose or tounge pierced, but most of my friends do have them and I don't find it gross at all.
 
I don't mind piercing, but I think that more than 2 or 3 per ear is just needlessly excessive and stupid. Seriously I think too many piercings are just...ugh. Such. A. Turn. Off. A tattoo is better imo.
 
Most of the people I hung out in high school had piercings in abnormal areas. Abnormal to me growing up was anywhere other than the ear. For a long time, I found piercings on the nose to be very, very strange as well. But while I hung out with people who had eccentric piercings, ear piercings and, for very few people, nose piercings are the only things that I can really handle looking at. While I don't judge them, anything on someone's lips or (especially!) large gauges or anything like that look extremely tacky and - frankly - disgusting to me. It takes away the beauty that I find in pretty much every human face. I have a very hard time looking at someone's face if they have piercings everywhere. While I try not to judge them or anything like that, it's very difficult for me to really stomach seeing a huge hole in someone's ear. I hear when people who have them take them out, the smell is absolutely rancid. But I can't deny that there are some piercings other than ear and nose piercings on some people that look nice on them.

On top of that, the thought of a ring getting caught on something and pulling and ripping a body part gives me negative thoughts on ever getting any type of piercings myself. It's usually the one thought I have going on in my mind when I see someone with a piercing.
 
I don't mind piercings at all. I know a lot of people who have them and certain piercings, I find pretty hot, on a girl that is.

I have always wanted a lip ring piercing, but I have always decided against it, simply because I doubt it would be accepted when I go for my future jobs, so I would happily sacrifice this for my jobs!

As regards to the more, interesting piercings, I am not sure why people do them, but hey, whatever floats their boat; talking about genital piercings.​

im fine with tongue rings and ear piercings.. but like..some piercings just go WAYYYY to far, ive seen guys taht have pierced their nipples, girls too, noe piercings, lip piercings, ive seen people who pierced that bit of skin in between their index finger and thier thumb, ive heard of guys and girls piercing "down their" and that just sounds wrong..

ive only seen teens with piercings like ears, lip, and nose.. ives seen more adults with tounge, many guys ive seen walking on sidewalks shirtless with nipple piercings.. etc etc, so most adults have the weird ones
 
I actually really like piercings on guys, it's pretty hot lol. Not on myself though, I had my ears pierced once when I was younger (if you consider that a piercing; I do), but it just didn't really suite me, and because I am not really as girly as other girls -not a tomboy though-, in a way that I don't really mind to get dirty or something or that I like to .. romp a little? (idk if that's the right word, but anyway), I didn't really want to have piercings anymore because I was scared they might get stuck somewhere. Also, my skin is very very thick, due to my half-eastern background and a little Russian, so it would hurt way too bad lol.
