If that were to happen it would be cut in America broadcast :DThat would be awesome. Nitendo/Pokemon company USA, make it happen xD
Yeah he did but USA wanted to avoid the confirmation of it. At least I got that feeling.
But didn't Latios (from the 5th movie) sacrifice his life?
I was mortified when Hunter J's death was alluded to last season. There is no room for death in the world of Pokemon. It's just too dark for such an innocent show. Bad guys trying to take over the world? Fine. Stealing? Ok. All as long as there's a morality tale to it. But death is just too dark.
Death has actually happened more often than you think in Pokemon, but it more-so happens in the movies than the episode series (which is innocent enough to show blood only twice with like 500 episodes in between). Like Mewtwo killing everyone on the Pokemon Lab island, Celebi dying in the 4th movie, Latios in the 5th, Aaron and Lucario in the 8th and so on.
But I do agree, that would be a very interesting, albeit dark plot twist to end the anime with. Highly doubt they would keep Pikachu dead though, as everyone else has said. If Pikachu were to die, my theory is that Ash would either lose his innocence and use the grief as fuel to further his Pokemon training and become the master he wants to be or he would lose his confidence and quit training completely.
Why would you be mortified when Hunter J death haven't really been said that she is dead or she may even be alive. Death is something that will never happen in the anime series.I was mortified when Hunter J's death was alluded to last season. There is no room for death in the world of Pokemon.
