Pikachu sacrificing himself for Ash in last ep, good?

If that would happen, it'd be too sad for me to handle. The anime might end if that happened.

It's a kids show, so the chances of Pikachu or anyone dieing for anyone is slim to none. As much as I would like to see Pikachu gone I don't ever see this happening. As far as how I would feel, indifferent. He is gone, frees up more room for Ash or that means we may get too finally see a new main character besides Ash.

If anything it would be like the episode in Lavender town where they come back to life.

Yeah possibly, but not for last episode or anything. Probably for a movie like how they always do it.. Then bring them back to life somehow. :p

I always imagined that the anime's finale would be a movie.

Pikachu could essentially do what he did in the first episode when the Spearow were attacking Ash. However, this time instead of Spearow it will be some enraged legendary Pokemon and instead of a grassland it will be on top of a mountain. Pikachu will perform the greatest thunderbolt mankind's ever seen which will stop the legendary right in its tracks. The whole "Hooray, we're safe" thing will proceed along with the "Poor, brave, little Pikachu" deal and before you know it we'll be at the credits.

The credits will have Ash walking while showing the evolution of his character design. After the credits are over we hear a "Pika!" and Ash runs to investigate the source of the sound. I think you know where I'm going with this.

I still think the anime should end with the reformed Team Rocket blasting off. The very last thing we should see is *DING*.

Dear Mike that'd make me want to cry, I think I'd rather have a happy ending *Cries*

Ya,its going to come, too bad at the end of the episode it was all Ash's dream.

That would be awesome. It's a very good idea, despite the fact that 1 minute after the episode is aired, half of the pokemon fans would jump off the roofs of their houses.

Regardless of that, that would be a good step for The Pokemon Company to take :p

I was mortified when Hunter J's death was alluded to last season. There is no room for death in the world of Pokemon. It's just too dark for such an innocent show. Bad guys trying to take over the world? Fine. Stealing? Ok. All as long as there's a morality tale to it. But death is just too dark.

As much as I'd like that to happen, to tell the truth I don't see Pokémon anime ending :D I think at least for another 15 years :D
But I think the last episode could really be sacrificing episode but instead of dying Pikachu could evolve.

That would be awesome. Nitendo/Pokemon company USA, make it happen xD
If that were to happen it would be cut in America broadcast :D

Pikachu Got Erased from existence in the 12th movie but got back in the end so i don't think they'll let pikachu die in the anime, without it coming back to life afterwards

How would you feel if, in the last episode Pikachu gives his life to save Ash?
It would be a good thing because Ash has saved Pikachu numerous times and it's his turn to return the favor

But didn't Latios (from the 5th movie) sacrifice his life?

:t354:TG

I just can't see this happening in the animae. The pokemon animae is meant to be very child-friendly, and sacrifice is going a bit too far.

Or.. was the game a child's one too?
Steven said kill in HG/SS.

But, that'll never happen.
More regions await. New Pokemon waiting.
But if Best Wishes does the next B/W series, Iris should be kik'd now,
and hope for Brock's return AND Hilda should be a part of em'.

If Pikachu dies.... surely, they will make a new Main/Hero Char, and Ash won't be in Pokemon anymore. But Pokemon will never die. They'll just get fainted :).

Death has actually happened more often than you think in Pokemon, but it more-so happens in the movies than the episode series (which is innocent enough to show blood only twice with like 500 episodes in between). Like Mewtwo killing everyone on the Pokemon Lab island, Celebi dying in the 4th movie, Latios in the 5th, Aaron and Lucario in the 8th and so on.

But I do agree, that would be a very interesting, albeit dark plot twist to end the anime with. Highly doubt they would keep Pikachu dead though, as everyone else has said. If Pikachu were to die, my theory is that Ash would either lose his innocence and use the grief as fuel to further his Pokemon training and become the master he wants to be or he would lose his confidence and quit training completely.

I forgot about Mewtwo. The other cases could all be described as 'self sacrifice,' but Mewtwo definitely committed murder. When did the anime show blood?

Why would you be mortified when Hunter J death haven't really been said that she is dead or she may even be alive. Death is something that will never happen in the anime series.

There is noway Pikachu will ever die this is still a show for kids, pokemon never die they just fainted that's all.
