Hmm... Definitely "Beat-Up", "Faint Attack", or "Night Slash".
Bite and Faint Attack all the way for me.
This website should help. How do you make a user bar?
This is a really hard one...
But I'd have to say Spiritomb, mainly because of the Dark- and Ghost-type combo, makes him unhittable by Psychic-, Normal-, and Fighting-type attacks, and has no weaknesses. It's also resistant to Poison-type attacks. I would've picked Sableye (because I like him better), but Spiritomb has better stats.
And if it's attacks are:
- Dark Pulse
- Nasty Plot
- Hypnosis
(and)
- Dream Eater
Then Spiritomb can heal, make the opponent useless, and deal great damage in battle.
You're certainly welcome! :)Thanks,2cool4mewtwo for the link
Also, you never know what Pokemon you're going to fight with... So there's a lot of factors involved that we can't use. Depending on what the type of Pokemon, Tyranitar might be better, however, against others, Spiritomb is invulnerable... though I dislike Spiritomb, it is a very powerful Pokemon.

When comparing Pokemon, you may consider either Tyranitar or Spiritomb. For Pokemon in general, people often consider PokeStats and type. When we compared the two Pokemon, Tyranitar completely dominated Spiritomb with superior performance across PokeStats and type. Finally, remember that while Tyranitar and Spiritomb are fairly similar, the best Pokemon for you is ultimately based on who you are and what you're going to do with it.
PokeStats: for Lightning Speed (Highest Speed), it's a must!
Pokestats is often rated as most important for Lightning Speed (Highest Speed), in addition to Overall Stats (From the original 150 Pokemon) and Attacking! (Highest Attack and Special Attack). Includes statistics like HP, Attack, Defense, Speed and more.Pokestats encompasses HP, Attack, and everything in between: Defense, Speed, Special Attack, Special Defense, Species, Ability, Evolves From, Evolves Into, Cuteness Rating and Ferocity Rating.
Part of PokeStats is Speed, which is valued greatly by Overall Stats (From the original 150 Pokemon). While most people find that Speed is a significant consideration, the difference between Tyranitar at 61 points and Spiritomb at 35 points is 26 points.
For PokeStats, an important difference between Tyranitar and Spiritomb is Attack. Attack is a value that determines how much damage a Pokemon will cause to the opponent while using a physical move. While Attack of Tyranitar is 134 points , that of Spiritomb is 92 points , a difference of 42 points. The Attack is especially important to Overall Stats (From the original 150 Pokemon).
Everything you need to know about type (for The Shadows (Best stats for overall Dark Pokemon))
Type is often rated as most important for The Shadows (Best stats for overall Dark Pokemon), in addition to Let's FIGHT! (Best overall stats Fighting Pokemon) and Water/ Def . Pokemon types are special attributes which determine the strengths and weaknesses of different Pokemon species.Type encompasses Bug, Dark, and everything in between: Dragon, Electric, Fighting, Fire, Flying, Ghost, Grass, Ground, Ice, Normal, Poison, Psychic, Rock, Steel and Water.
Part of type is Dragon, which is valued greatly by Let's FIGHT! (Best overall stats Fighting Pokemon). While most people find that Dragon is a significant consideration, neither Tyranitar nor Spiritomb feature Dragon.
If type is very important to you, too, consider a significant difference between Tyranitar and Spiritomb: Rock. Rock-type Pokemon are affiliated with rocks and mountains. Tyranitar features Rock, while Spiritomb does not feature Rock. Having Rock is especially important to Let's FIGHT! (Best overall stats Fighting Pokemon).
When we compared Tyranitar to Spiritomb, we calculated both of their PikiRanks. The PikiRank measures how each item stacks up against all Pokemon, as calculated by our tool, the Piki, according to the number of people who indicate preferences that match the strengths of Pokemon. For this comparison, Tyranitar possesses a PikiRank of 19, while Spiritomb has a PikiRank of 189, meaning that of the users who come to our site, most of them indicate a stronger preference for Tyranitar. To give your input, share your preferences, and compare more items, visit our Piki for Pokemon!
Well tyranitar is probabaly stronger because since sabeyele and spiritomb are ghost/dark a crunch from tyranitar could OHKO them cuz of there ghost type

Are you sure your pokemon weren't just waay overleveled compared to sableye. Because everyone knows that Pokemon like sableye and Spiritomb have no weakness.
The only time it can be super effective is when a pokemon uses foresight and then a fighting type move... it's a factand in the holy bible they call Bulbapedia
Then there's Scrappy that allows to hit ghost-types with normal-types. Bit situational but still applies as well.Heh I didn't pay much attention to Soak from being 5th Gen and all and I haven't really used it, but I guess it counts as a weakness too, though it isn't Spiritomb/sableye only weakness.
