Question: Pixel Art forum

Um, I have a good portifolio of drawings made from fake pokemon sprites. I regised this forum to start a 'workshop' thread of it.

When I saw that the only options of art forum you got is "graphic" and "pixel" I had a question: Do artworks (drawings, not pixels) that are inspired in sprites (pixel art) counts? And why only pixel art deserve a topic and traditional art doesn't?
