Once Black and White comes out, will you still play your platinum? Obviously you will turn it on, maybe start over, ET. But will you play Wifi competition, or will that be basically a ghost town due to Black and White?

People are still playing older generations nowadays, I'm sure this will still be the case once B&W come out.

Yup, I'll still play! I plan on restarting platinum now, and having my own challenge. I'm gonna play Platinum cosplay-style! I'm gonna only use the Pokemon that Dawn owns in the anime!

And I still never finished Pearl. Only one I finished is Diamond, and now I use that game to store all my extra Pokemon from SoulSilver (Ran out of boxes because I completed the National Dex collection)

I really love the storyline of Platinum. And I love how it's more challenging, like the gyms were more challenging than they were in SoulSilver..it made you think.

And of course I love the sprite ;)

Yup the levels are way low! And the gyms are just to simple! I like how complex the gyms are, and you gotta figure out how to get through them to get to the leader. The only gym I recall that was like in SS was the last one, in Viridian city.

I'm not bashing SS though, or saying Platinum is better. I love them both, I find it very hard to choose. I just like the gym system in Plat. better. And I'll definitely not be abandoning these games for the new one. I'm going to play the new ones, but I'm kinda nervous about how the 5th generation will be, so who knows.

Of course I will. Though I'll probably end up playing Pearl more since it's where I breed and train most of my pokemon. Platinum is just my start-over every once in a while file, and I have Diamond too but I haven't really touched it.

Black and white coming out will just mean that my Pearl & Platinum get more time due to trading.

i think alot of people will continue to play all the old generations. not many people are just going to stop playing because a new game comes out. i still play one of my original r/b/y games at least once a week.

Platinum is my favourite game of the Pokémon series, so I will definitely still play it over and over when BW is out. I actually left HGSS un-played for ages because I was journeying through Sinnoh once more. :-) I really need to at least get to Kanto, ahem.

No. because i find platinum boring. i will still probably play blue/silver/ss. but i will probably stop playing platinum unless i use it for wifi battling.

Ill play latinum forever its the best games ever

I'll still play Platinum. I hope that they redo Pal Park and have a similar feature, so I can have my old team on the new games.

    Where there's a frontier, there's my activity.

Yes, I will still play it.

yeah, have you noticed that the levels are alot lower in HGSS compared to platinum. It's probably because there are 16 gyms
Always thought they where low leveled for an easier team level up-er. Because the wild pkmn where a lot easier for training pkmn.

    Yeah, I'll still play platinum.

As long as the competitive nature of pokemon goes into B/W, then I will re-start platinum, and use it as the game I use for fun.

I'll still play it. Thats my "training" game. I breed and raise special pokemon and then transfer them to other games like diamond. Hopefully I will be able to trade to black and white.

Yeah, I'll still play on Wi-Fi on Platinum, and Diamond and Pearl. Pokémon games never get old.
