Alright peoples what would you say havin the game n all about platinum

    My opinions
    Pro:
    Awesome Battle tower
    Good graphics
210 pokemon in first dex makes things nice and tricky

    Con:
How many times do you have verse cyrus anyway!
Only half the gym leaders have new rooms
    The distortion lasts to short

    thats what i think
    please reply

    Hmm.

Platinum is my first non-console Pokemon game (used to have Stadium + Snap) and after comparing it to my friend's diamond and pearl, i'd say it's much better.

i picked it up quite quickly, with a good storyline, and good features. even little things like the 2 buttons on the poketch instead of 1 can help a bit.

some things i didn't like is that in the end, the main battles didn't give me any great challenge, which is a shame. i currently don't have wi-fi, so i can't really say much about that. battle tower is good if you have the patience :)
personally, i just like doing things over a short amount of time, so i don't like going there.

overall though, very good game, and i would recommend to new players and pokemon veterans alike.

Well, the graphics are better. I also love the Battle Frontier. And Team Galactic HQ looks awesome now. The Galactic Eterna Building is no longer plain and boring looking. The only bad part to me is that the Galactic grunt guarding the warehouse is no longer there. But we still have the one in the HQ building.

I would go for exactly what you said.
    Pro:
    Awesome Battle tower
    Good graphics
210 pokemon in first dex makes things nice and tricky

    Con:
How many times do you have verse cyrus anyway!
Only half the gym leaders have new rooms
    The distortion lasts to short

But i would tweak a little.
Battling Cyrus would actually be fun and challenging in my opinion. So Cyrus in PRO.

    Pros:
-Ponyta can learn Flame Wheel by level-up (it can't in D/P)
-Improved attack animations (Hidden Power, for example)
-Rotom becomes catchable after 2nd badge
-No Strength required to get into secret area of Wayward Cave
-More Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex (Ralts being among them :) )
-Improved Amity Square, plus larger Pokemon compatibility
    -More interesting plot than D/P

    Cons:
-You can't catch Murkrow and Misdreavus in this game!!!
-Or Stunky and Glameow, for that matter.
-You can't access Solaceon Town, Veilstone City, or Pastoria City until earning your 3rd badge (from Fantina)
-Budew and Roselia's sprites are uglier

Cons: You can only have ONE Porygon! :'(

The only cons is that they need more new areas.
    Otherwise it rocks

    Pros:
~Gym leaders, Elite Four, Frontier brains and rival are animated.
    ~Amity Square-allows starters to follow-and looks better.
~Croagunk sign in Pastoria. (I've seen Croagunk's overworld several times already.)
~Contest songs have been drastically improved and each category has a different theme.
~Battle Frontier-music and brains. (I beat Dahlia and Argenta once each.)
~Gardenia's gym, Maylene's gym and Fantina's gym look a lot better.
    ~Battling Fantina without the wait.
~Jasmine giving you an HM. (Like she did in DP.)
~Battleground-reversing gym leaders at much higher levels with better Pokemon.
~Rival battles. Gets up to level 80s so you have a better chance at getting level 100s.
    ~Get Eevee earlier on.
~Get Porygon. (I used it a lot and evolved it into a PorygonZ. It's in the level 90s.)
~Surf is much faster than in DP.
~Better sprites than the ones in DP.
~Great Marsh looks a lot better this time.

    Cons:
    ~Missing Murkrow, Misdreavous, Stunky, Glameow...
~Some gyms didn't get made over.
~No battle against other playable character.
    ~Bog was very annoying.

    Pros:
    Distortion World
    Other new stuff

    Cons:
    NPC's still don't shut the f**k up
Battle Tower is kind of boring since everyone is always the same level in the fights

    Pros:
    - Battle Frontier was entertaining
    - Deeper plot
    - More pokemon before national dex

    Cons:
    - Distortion world was a complete waste of time
    - Spirtes weren't that great
    - Altogether not that great of a game.

    pros:
    * battle fronteir
*Wally is the strongest non-playable trainer evah
    *new sinnoh dex
    *battleground
    *EEVEE!
    *faster surf
    *improved elite four
    *global terminal
*and only half the fat of D/P :)

    cons:
    # master rank contests are harder

God damn, yet another of these threads? Don't you guys check any old threads? Platinum has some new stuff, like a better storyline and the Battle Frontier. It doesn't take away anything, so there aren't really any cons.

    pro
    good battle system
    now in 3d
    more pokemon
    new batte tower

    cons

    graphics are bad
verry less battles in the game

While there are pros and cons, Platinum in general is a great game.
I'm not really sure what the point of this thread is - I'm guessing what you liked, and disliked about Platinum?
Regardless, the discussion here seems to be kind of redundant.

    Closed. :)
