4th Gen Platinum Sprites....

    They are absolutely hideous!
    At least, the ones on Bulbapedia are...

    I signed up for this forum specifically to rant about how awful they are!
    (Although I'm sure I'll find plenty of other fun things to do!)

    Thoughts?

    What? Acually platinums graphics are the most plesant pokemon graphics to today! And if you signed up to only rant then you wont be on long.
     
    Have you seen all of them?

    I think Eevee and Pikachuu's sprites are adorable!

    And have you seen Platina's sprite? That is just the funniest sprite evar. xD (Kinda looks like she's doing the chicken dance! lol)

    and I like Pearl's large sprite too. (Damn. That is one kick-ass sprite.)
     
    I guess to be fair there are some that are nice. I'm just very displeased with some of the other sprites. I'm especially upset with the new Budew sprite.
    Budew is my absolute favorite Pokemon to date and I just hate the way they made it look.

    I know what you feel just by looking at the Rotomized Appliances. Very awful, really. Some are not though. Its still good.
     
    I think your going to be grossly outnumbered here...

    I love the platinum sprites, theres nothing bad about them at all
     
    I think they are all fine...even though people have they're own opinions I must say, pokemon MIGHT look ugly but they all have their own special power...like I always say:
    P-Precious
    O- Outstanding
    K- Kind
    E- Excellently Powerful
    M- Maunually come in handy!
    O- Oustandingly Unique in a good way
    N- Nice to everybody...even when they are mad!
     
    The Pokemon Platinum sprites are okay, some are very good and some are quite bad so it's kinda 50/50 for me.
     
    On the contrary, I prefer the majority. Many are more dynamic and improve on the abysmal 4th gen sprites like rhyperior.
     
    I thought they were odd too. They make a lot of them look even weirder. They didn't update any of the older sprites. They should've redone Slaking (:P), even some of the beginning sprites. Looks to me like they rushed.
     
    I think they look excellent, and to be honest, the improvements were needed. Most of the old sprites just didn't look as realistic as they should have. The transition from all the older games to a new generation brought an extreme amount of improvement, however I just didn't see all that much from R/S/E to D/P/Pt.

    And Electivire has the best new sprite. :P
     
    The only sprite I don't like is Kirlia's back sprite. The other sprites I love because of all the poses they have and the way they're drawn.

    This sounds like something from Barney. Haha.

    SOME Plat. sprites are really ugly. And some got the improvements they needed.

    50/50 for me.

    YEAH I KNOW I LIKE BUDEW TOO :D AND THEY MADE BUDEW LOOK FAT:(...........OHHWELL ATLEAST ROSELIA STILL LOOKS COOL....

    I AGREE SOME OF THEM ARE BAD BUT SOME OF THEM LOOKS COOL LIKE THE NEW BIDOOF SPRITE AND DARKRAI THEY LOOK MEAN :D
     
    I dislike them so don't worry! I just like they have made them look worst then DP. Aipom's Platinum sprite is terrible in my opnion. It looks like its been drawn worse and I prefer the DP sprites of the starter Pokemon rather than the Platinum sprites. They just look... uncompleted.

    well some of the sprites are great but nintendo like toataly wrecked
    some of the cool sprites like lucario's new sprite i likd the old one better
