Decided that since I decided to try out a new team (Which probably will fail and need a lot of criticism XD), I decided to make this thread to see how it works out.

    AT A GLANCE....

    Metal Scrap (Heatran)@ Choice Scarf
    Timid Nature
    Flash Fire
    4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
    Fire Blast
    Stealth Rock
    Earth Power
    HP Ice

Standard Scarftran lead that everyone seems to have now. Standard moveset, and if I'm lucky, will set up SR on a switch. Moveset can take most things set upon it, and HP Ice can kill all the nasty EQers and pesky dragons looming around the metagame now adays.

[PokeCommunity.com] Platinum Test (With all the Standard OU Pokemon)

    Fire Truck (Scizor)@ Choice Band
    Adamant Nature
    Technician
    28 HP/ 252 Atk/ 228 Spe
    Bullet Punch
    U-Turn
    Superpower
    Pursuit

As basic as basic gets now. With the addition of Bullet Punch to Scizor's arsenal, it makes this priority move deadly. With the Choice Band, anything that dares to face it will be taking a big hit.

[PokeCommunity.com] Platinum Test (With all the Standard OU Pokemon)

    Popular (Salamence)@ Yache Berry
    Naughty Nature
    Intimidate
    4 HP/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe
    Dragon Dance
    Outrage
    Fire Blast
    Earthquake

The new standard for DDMence here, and I decided why the heck not try it out!? With the Naughty Nature, there isn't any reduction in either SpA or Atk, so it should work out better. Good coverage overall.

    Not Happening (Dusknoir)@ Leftovers
    Impish Nature
    Pressure
    252 HP/ 252 Def/ 6 SpD
    Thunder Punch
    Fire Punch
    Will O Wisp
    Pain Split

Standard Anti-Spin Dusknoir, with Thunder Punch for my glaring weakness to most Water types, who carry Ice Beam and Surf. Need I say more?

[PokeCommunity.com] Platinum Test (With all the Standard OU Pokemon)

    Tubby (Blissey)@ Leftovers
    Calm Nature
    Natural Cure
    252 Def/ 40 SpA/ 216 SpD
    Aromatherapy
    Ice Beam
    Thunder Wave
    Softboiled

Standard Cleric set-up, not really much to add in. Mostly used for the fact that I have a use Status problem on my team.

[PokeCommunity.com] Platinum Test (With all the Standard OU Pokemon)

    Dreidel (Forretress)@ Leftovers
    Relaxed Nature
    Studry
    252 HP/ 162 Atk/ 96 Def
    Earthquake/ Gyro Ball
    Rapid Spin
    Spikes
    Explosion

I think I need a spinner, and with the amount of offense I currently possess, I decided a more so defense-orientated spinner might be more useful. Also, I wanted Spikes support, so viola!

Wow...DD Kingdra can really pose a problem. Once it gets a DD up, it outspeeds all of your team, and OHKO's Salamence with Outrage even with Intimidate. I suppose Dusknoir (lol) can come in and burn it, but the Waterfall flinch chance isn't something to play with. It'll likely come in after Forry has gone boom, but if you can explode on it, good for you, that's one HUGE threat out of the way =D

    Great team overall.

    Not much to improve, but:
~Don't you think Dusknoir needs Shadow Punch? That little extre STAB bite can turn useful...
~HP Ice on Heatran is an abomination! I can't look at this!
~Gyro Ball for Foretress, and I doubt Explotion will be so effective.
    Great team overall. Cheers!

~HP Ice on Heatran is an abomination! I can't look at this!

Wow, i cant look at how horrible that piece of false information is.

In all honestly scarf tran needs Hp Ice since Dragon Pulse doesnt OHKO Mence, or any other 4x weak dragon like Nite for that matter, whom you are going to be revenge killing with it =).

And D_A got the point of HP Ice :D

I used Gyro ball on Forry, didn't work out so well, as various fire types switched in on it, and Gyro Ball was less effective than EQ.
