Pokemon evolve, so do players. I personally when I first started playing Pokemon. Always used TM's, the Missingno cheat to make 4 hundred million Masterballs, and TMs. So my pokemon were always lvl 100, and like my Cloyster's move set was the only varied one. With Moves like, Surf, Ice Beam, Blizzard, and Clamp... ALL but one move aren't his type. But he DOES learn it.
Soon after, I read the dictionary and found this new word called "Strategy". An interesting word, that made me think about not cheating, and actually PLAYING the game. My next Cloyster looked more like this, Surf, Ice Beam, Clamp and Withdraw! lol. OK not too much difference. But this was in Red and Blue.. wasn't a WHOLE lot of strategy back then, like there is now.
I have become a much better trainer, and learned deeply this Strategy ideal. As well as picked up Breeding along the way to make uber pokes.
My question is this. Compared to the first time you played Pokemon, how much have you evolved as a player? I shared how I evolved, how did you. Let us know which game you started on, and what your on now.
Thanks for playing, Viz. ^^
