Microsoft must have been dreaming if they thought they could hold a launch party for the Xbox 360 last night and somehow stop us from getting our hands on photos of every last piece of hardware that was there. We already scored a live shot of the console, along with its controller, now courtesy of another attendee we now know what the Xbox 360?s DVD player/Media Center remote control is going to look like.

I think it's ugly. And its name lies. 360 should mean a circle, but that only has slightly rounded edges. o.o I hope it'll come in different colours. That white is really... retro or something. o_O; I would have thought they'd go with black again... or silver. Plain white is just boring. :\

Yeah, they could of atleast made it silver.. ish O.o;, yeah, and i dont get the point of it being called Xbox 360 if it isnt circle, this is strange, im just takin' a weird stupid guess, but could that.. be fake or something? O.o; XD, but yeah, it would be rather cool to see a console in a different color for once, like.. maroon kinda color or something XD
 
The controller is awesome, the system is OK.
 
White? They should have chosen a darker shade of white like grey. Oh well, still looks cool. The controller picture you post looks a lot better than the one I did.
 
I merged "xbox 360 pics revealed", with this one since it was already posted in here.

Anyone else think that 360 is a stupid name? That'd be a circle, no? So basically, they went around in a circle and the system is virtually the same as the last version? Xbox 180 would've been a better name. All the way around and back to the beginning vs. some progress. Lol

The Xbox 360 is may not be the name of the next Xbox. The offical codename from Microsoft is Xenon.
 
They did that so that people wouldn't think - PS3, XBox2, hmmm............PS3 sounds more advanced - lets go with that. Wierd, yes, but thats Bill Gates. Another thing is, teh XBox360 is straying away from gaming. I heard that you will be able to browse the internet on it, and even download certain non-game programs from the internet for it. Sounds more like a computer that plays special games, and i really think that it will be Microsofts downfall in the gaming world.
 
Interesting...Ourcoloney.net, the Xbox 360's teaser site, posted a picture(bottom) showing that the Xbox 360 might have customizable skins. So if white is not for you, you can place a different skin on. Hopfully with a much bigger selection as none of then really appeal to me.

Acutally, it is rumored that Microsoft will release different verisons of the Xbox 360, one being a PC equivalent and one being a gaming system. There could be more than two. This rumor is highly likely to be true.

Haha yeah exactly. If it's supposed to suggest that they're taking gaming in a new direction then they are, in fact, going backwards. :sleeping:

I do hope they change the name, though. It sounds pretty stupid. I won't be buying the thing but when I speak about it I don't want to sound like an idiot.
 
More specs for the Xbox 360. Could be true, could be false, but I'm willing to bet that these are at least semi-true. Where it says it will have a "Detachable 20GB drive," it will probally be a 40GB hard drive.
 
My take on the XB360 Looks: I love it n.n White suits it percectly, and the shape is pure genius! It looks sexy and stylish IMO, and I don't know why you guys hate it xD

I'm not a Micro$oft hater, but I'm not a fanboy either. Xenon is 100% better than 360, and I have no clue why Gates would even want a stupid name like that! Oh well. v.v

I'll be buying it when it comes out. If I buy it then, I'll have time for the best one: Revolution =P
