Please Help Me!-Fixing my SS team

    My team right now in soulsilver is:
    Feraligatr
    Blaziken
    Alakazam
    Togetic
    Luxray
    Poliwhirl

    I want to replace poliwhirl since I already have both a water and a fighting type on my team.
    I just recently got an Eevee from Bill and thought it would be good to get an Umbreon (Or even a Leafeon, as my grass type). Although I also just got a Dratini and I'm not sure if I should instead use that.
    A problem with replacing poliwhirl is that poliwhirl knows surf and whirlpool (I feel bad, making him a sort-of HM slave =( ) and I hate teaching HM's to my starter pokemon. Should I just suck it up and teach Surf to Feraligatr?
    I also need a pokemon to learn waterfall, maybe I should teach it to poliwhirl (making him an HM slave).
    Also, Which pokemon would be best for replacing Poliwhirl?

    This is hard for me because I love that thing :P but it has to be done.
     
    I don't know if this is posted in the right section, either post it in the help thread or the strategies and movesets section.

    imo i would swap it for the dratini, especially if your EV training.

    ..... You can NOT get Leafeon In SS or HG Only Dppt. So yeah rule that out.
     
    A totodile that i traded to my HG from my platinum(i'm not telling you how many times i looked for a feraligtr on the GTS) Had Surf as an Egg Move along with several other moves and surf can be a good move in battle so it's not much of let down teaching an HM to your starter
     
    Moved to the in-game team rate section, which is where team help stuff in-game ought to go.
     
    what's wrong wth teaching surf to a pokemon 95 attack and 100 accuracy with 15 PP is just AWESOME.
