I want to keep Infernape and please keep it Sinnoh pokemon only. Only new pokemon introduced in Gen IV (evolutions like Roserade and Electivire can be included too).
I don't care about tiers, this is just a team to battle 6v6 Singles online in X&Y, not for Smogon rules and not for VGC Doubles. Just plain Online X&Y Singles.
Infernape @ Choice Band
Iron Fist | Jolly Nature
6 HP/252 Attack/252 Speed
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- U-Turn
- Thunder Punch
Infernape is pretty much the wallbreaker of my team. Just a straight powerhouse.
Floatzel @ Life Orb
Swift Swim | Jolly Nature
6 HP/252 Attack/252 Speed
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- Crunch
- Aqua Jet
Floatzel is more of my versatile physical sweeper thanks to having a Life Orb instead of being choiced. I was thinking maybe replacing it with Gastrodon or Rotom Wash but then I'll have too few physical attackers.
Roserade @ Black Sludge
Natural Cure | Calm Nature
252 HP/102 Special Attack/156 Special Defense
- Toxic Spikes
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power Rock
- Synthesis
Roserade is my entry hazard user, setting up Toxic Spikes and then gaining health back with Giga Drain, Synthesis, and Black Sludge. It can take plenty of special attacks and I also gave it HP Rock in case of any fire or flying types.
Magnezone @ Light Clay
Magnet Pull | Calm Nature
204 HP/100 Defense/206 Special Defense
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power Ice
- Light Screen
- Reflect
Magnezone sets up dual screens for extra defenses for my team. Volt Switch in case I need to get away quick and HP Ice to cover any Dragons or Ground types.
Togekiss @ Rocky Helmet
Serene Grace | Calm Nature
200 HP/200 Defense/110 Special Defense
- Air Slash
- Dazzling Gleam
- Roost
- Thunder Wave
Togekiss is my special tank. She can take plenty of special attacks and cripple opponents with Thunder Wave in case Roserade isn't able to land Toxic Spikes or if Toxic Spikes is rendered useless by a Poison type. I gave her the Rocky Helmet just for fun, y'know in case the opponent figures out special attacks won't work, tries a physical attack and gets hurt lol.
Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Pressure | Adamant Nature
252 HP/248 Defense/10 Special Defense
- Will-O-Wisp
- Shadow Sneak
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
Dusknoir is the beefy staller. In case a Pokemon renders Toxic Spikes useless, I can cause a burn and just tanks hits and waste their PP with Pressure until they faint. Dusknoir has been pretty helpful and was the cause of many of my victories when all of my other pokemon fainted.
Anyways, thank you for reading all of this information. If you have any suggestions on better EV Spreads, moves, or even just a better replacement, please feel free to respond.
However if you do suggest different EV Spreads, please tell me with detailed calculations about how it would be more effective. :)
