Weezing. Skarm can only handle non-CB ones. But then again, a lot of Pokemon can handle non-CB Heracross.

Hold on, so if a team doesn't have Weezing, it can't stop a CB Hera? I, of course, know that isn't true, but what is the flaw in CB Hera?

Yeah, scarfcross is very common. With prediction, heracross can be countered with other pokemon, but there is a risk of getting destroyed...which is why that pokemon wouldn't be a counter, but yeah...max (or a lot) of HP EVs on all your walls...especially the mixed walls.

EDIT: sims, the flaw in CB hera is that if you realize the extra power, you just switch into something that resists that attack...and can then damage it, so it would have to switch.

Dusknoir can counter Heracross with Fire Punch, just as long as it doesn't directly switch in against Hera, as Pursuit is dangerous. Jirachi can resist CBCross's attacks, and use Zen Headbutt against it. It probably won't OHKO though, unless it gets the suitable EV spread. Generally, Gliscor remains as the best counter for Heracross. Weezing can do reasonably well with Fire Blast / Flamethrower.

ok ive decided to replace dusknoir with scarfcross to give my team more ummmph but can someone give me a build for it

phy.sweepes- agiligross, maybe scarfcross

sp.sweep- specsmence, STARMIE(should i give it ice beam instead of recover)

walls- steelix( thanx anti-pop for making him my frav. phy.wall)

blissey - sp. wall

That team is rather hera weak...and Vire weak. Not too bad though. Starmie needs Ice beam, surf, and thunderbolt. the last slot is up to you, I prefer rapid spin, since your team lacks a spinner. And half your pokemon are burnt by fire, especially special fire moves. That means specsmence and Chainchomp hurt as well.

true but thats why blissey and starmie is there and hopefully my steelix can take down electivire and heracross before it faints......ive finished ev training my steelix
it has about 330hp and 521def

Those stats for steelix are really bad. Its HP maxes at 354...yours is WAY below. Defense max is 548...again, WAY below. And heracross lols at steelix. It even lols at skarm with the CB set. Scarfcross gets night slash and stone edge in the last two slots. But yeah, you might wanna check those steelix IVs...and what EVs did you give it? Level 100?

It should be 252 HP 252 DEF 6 ATT


its up to you with Heracross, Jolly with Choice Band or Adamant with Choice Scarf.

Steelix is a wall therefore it needs max HP and max Def.

Heracross really isnt a problem to Gliscor, but yeah AA is nice for STAB on it.

and metagross Evs are 154HP/252Atk/104Spd

EDIT: Also please put Close Combat Stone Edge Mega Horn and Pusuit on Heracross so you can PWN Gengar on the switch. with 252 Att 252 speed 6 hp

Well, I personally don't like your steelix's EV spread, but oh well. CBcross is much harder to counter than scarfcross. I prefer CBcross. Nothing beats the old ADV standards.
