I disagree. My Dusknoir survived a burned SD Hera's Pursuit -without switching, of course- to counter with Pain Split, Fire Punch, & Shadow Sneak (in that order). Not recomending it, of course, but something to mull around the ol' noggin.

My efforts have been answered by a real life example D:

Well, you know, if it had Fire Punch...

Thing was, I was too scared to switch out, so I went & Pain Splitted. I thank God there was no crit :)

Of course, I was EV'd differntly.

OHKO moves are not allowed, so no. I would go with the Vaporeon set I posted earlier.

Do you play on WiFi or on Shoddy Battle? If on WiFi it is dishonerable, on Shoddy it isn't allowed.

Standard rules forbid using them as it relies on luck.

The people who use said OHKO moves, are to put it nicely, N00bs.

Well, if this is a wifi team, the rules are the same, in standard battles. If you're playing standard, only a n00b or a jack ass would use them.
