Jake woke up to Luna singing loudly into his head. "Wake up everyone!" Jake just ignored her, rolling over, but everyone else got up with a groan. "Come on silly pawniard!" she bumped him in the back with one of her spikes, sending a shiver down Jake's spine. He got up quickly, trying to rub away the weird feeling with the flat of his blades. "Fine, fine! I'm up!" Jake relaxed when the feeling left his back. "Is she always that loud and happy? It's kinda creepy," Jake asked Kaleb. The pikachu sighed, rubbing his temples, "Unfortunately yes. Rumor has it that all her joyousness is just to make up for Sol lack of enthusiasm for anything," He grinned at Jake, "Well, glad to have you and Navi with the explorers! Don't mind Sol, if it seems like he doesn't care, he doesn't. He'll only care if somebody gets hurt. If you fail something the first time, he won't care, which is kind of nice, but then when you do something amazing, he doesn't care either. It's really kind of disappointing," Kaleb then walked ahead of him. Jake fell behind to walk next to Navi. "Seems as though we're partners. Lets try not to hold each other back," Jake said and then he was back in common room. All the other pokemon went about their duties but Luna called for the new members to stay. "Now, we'll need you to give us your team names. You have five minutes to discuss. "How about Liquid Metal?" Jake asked Navi, combining their two types. Navi agreed, and soon the five minutes were up. "Okay, you, Van. What's your team name?" The vulpix looked at his partner for a second, to confirm that they had what they wanted, then looked at Luna. "Team Blazing Thunder," he said. Luna looked deep in thought for a moment, as if storing it in a mental file cabinet. "Okay, you, Hugo." The riolu didn't miss a beat, instantly replying. "Team Forerunner." "And you, Navi?" The timid squirtle hesitated for a moment, then answered, "Team Liquid Metal." The Solrock put on her creepily big grin, and then floated away without a word. "Well, teams, I will give you your first missions. After I tell you what you need to do, you should go into town before an earthquake knocks over the buildings. You, rescuers. We've gotten word that somebody has gotten lost in Pitch Forest. She's a pachirisu, her location in the dungeon currently unknown. Her friend reported her missing, gone into the forest and she hasn't returned. When you find her, come back and I'll have your reward. Don't leave just yet," he turned to Jake and Navi. "You two will explore River Elixa. We've heard that some kind of treasure is there some where, which no one has been able to find yet. You are still young, so think of some creative way to possibly find the treasure," Zeke faced the last team. "Since you guys are multipurpose, we would like to go explore to the fourth floor of Lundesa pit, and no further do you understand? The pokemon there are stronger than you will be for a while. There is also a petty thief on teh third floor. He stole 3 apples from Minun, so please beat him and retrieve the items. Minun will meet with you to give you 200 poke for the job. Now, before you leave to prepare and get on with your jobs, I have something I need to give all of you," three treasure bags along with badges for each faction respectively floated up next to the sigilyph. They hovered over tot eh teams, dropping to the correct teams feet. "In each bag is 300 poke for any first purchases, a red scarf which will boost attack and a yellow tie, which will boost speed. Good luck to all of you!" The sigilyph took his leave, floating up through the floor. "So," Jake turned to Navi, "Do you want the tie or the scarf?"
