PMD: Legend Rescue Team

Jake woke up to Luna singing loudly into his head. "Wake up everyone!" Jake just ignored her, rolling over, but everyone else got up with a groan. "Come on silly pawniard!" she bumped him in the back with one of her spikes, sending a shiver down Jake's spine. He got up quickly, trying to rub away the weird feeling with the flat of his blades. "Fine, fine! I'm up!" Jake relaxed when the feeling left his back. "Is she always that loud and happy? It's kinda creepy," Jake asked Kaleb. The pikachu sighed, rubbing his temples, "Unfortunately yes. Rumor has it that all her joyousness is just to make up for Sol lack of enthusiasm for anything," He grinned at Jake, "Well, glad to have you and Navi with the explorers! Don't mind Sol, if it seems like he doesn't care, he doesn't. He'll only care if somebody gets hurt. If you fail something the first time, he won't care, which is kind of nice, but then when you do something amazing, he doesn't care either. It's really kind of disappointing," Kaleb then walked ahead of him. Jake fell behind to walk next to Navi. "Seems as though we're partners. Lets try not to hold each other back," Jake said and then he was back in common room. All the other pokemon went about their duties but Luna called for the new members to stay. "Now, we'll need you to give us your team names. You have five minutes to discuss. "How about Liquid Metal?" Jake asked Navi, combining their two types. Navi agreed, and soon the five minutes were up. "Okay, you, Van. What's your team name?" The vulpix looked at his partner for a second, to confirm that they had what they wanted, then looked at Luna. "Team Blazing Thunder," he said. Luna looked deep in thought for a moment, as if storing it in a mental file cabinet. "Okay, you, Hugo." The riolu didn't miss a beat, instantly replying. "Team Forerunner." "And you, Navi?" The timid squirtle hesitated for a moment, then answered, "Team Liquid Metal." The Solrock put on her creepily big grin, and then floated away without a word. "Well, teams, I will give you your first missions. After I tell you what you need to do, you should go into town before an earthquake knocks over the buildings. You, rescuers. We've gotten word that somebody has gotten lost in Pitch Forest. She's a pachirisu, her location in the dungeon currently unknown. Her friend reported her missing, gone into the forest and she hasn't returned. When you find her, come back and I'll have your reward. Don't leave just yet," he turned to Jake and Navi. "You two will explore River Elixa. We've heard that some kind of treasure is there some where, which no one has been able to find yet. You are still young, so think of some creative way to possibly find the treasure," Zeke faced the last team. "Since you guys are multipurpose, we would like to go explore to the fourth floor of Lundesa pit, and no further do you understand? The pokemon there are stronger than you will be for a while. There is also a petty thief on teh third floor. He stole 3 apples from Minun, so please beat him and retrieve the items. Minun will meet with you to give you 200 poke for the job. Now, before you leave to prepare and get on with your jobs, I have something I need to give all of you," three treasure bags along with badges for each faction respectively floated up next to the sigilyph. They hovered over tot eh teams, dropping to the correct teams feet. "In each bag is 300 poke for any first purchases, a red scarf which will boost attack and a yellow tie, which will boost speed. Good luck to all of you!" The sigilyph took his leave, floating up through the floor. "So," Jake turned to Navi, "Do you want the tie or the scarf?"

It had been awhile since Vor took this train. He usually stayed around town most of the time and never really went to the guild or outside of town very often. The train had quite a few pokemon, some who were completely unfamiliar, despite him living in town for so long. He didn't both looking to see if he could find any familiar faces at the time and watched out the window for the group to arrive at their destination.

Vor had spent his time in town offering his services to various shops around town, mostly as a part time jobs giving him a small reputation around the area. He would even explain his visions of the future when they did happen. Many of them weren't too accurate though except for the one relating to all of the Legendary Pokemon. None the less, he was a well respected member of the community.

The train had eventually arrived, and the group walked out of it. Vor followed the group up to the guild taking in all of the instructions that were advised by Luna. Weird name for a Solrock. She and her brother must have had some kind of gag going on. When inside, The group had been given a tour around the building. Vor had been in here once but never really got an in depth look of the place so it was all a new experience to him.

When in the boys room, He had been assigned a partner to team up with. It helped Vor since he would have trouble deciding who to partner with anyways since they were all strangers to him. He was to be partnered with a Riolu named Hugo. And oddly colored one at that but he could get used to that. He tipped his fedora to him and floated to one of the beds to get an early night of sleep.

The next morning, Vor woke up and rubbed his eyes. Two of the Pokemon from before had already left but Vor was more focused on finding his partner...

(OOC: Sorry for being late)

Snack watched as the train stopped in front of the guild. Snack could hardly contain his excitement as he walked with the group. A Solrock was leading the newcomers along through a tour of the guild, Snack attentively listening along the way. Snack and the group were shown around the place, meeting guild members along the way. The newcomers were shown the Boy's room, because it seemed that only males were in the group. Soon, the group was ushered into the common room, this time the room was jam-packed with Pokemon. The Solrock was at the front of the crowd, ready to pick the teams.

" First we have Snack the Elekid with Van the Vulpix," the Solrock shouted. Snack was esctatic that he would be entering the Guild, with possibly a new friend in the Vulpix. Snack listened to the rest of the team making. A Hydregion began speaking about his position as the head of rescuing. The Hydregion looked towards Van and Snack.

" You, Van and Cracker," the Hydregion joked,

" You will be our new rescuers!" Snack smiled at his new position. After the speech, the guild members were escorted to the cafeteria, which had some quality food, especially the pickles. Feeling sleepy, Snack traveled to the Boy's room, where he would stay during his time with the guild. Snack found his bed, which was near the Hydregion's. Snack nestled in the straw bed and drifted off to sleep.

Van rolled around in the ashes that used to be his bed. He jerked awake with half a yelp when the rest of them were awoken. Van looked around, slightly emberrassed at this. He was not used to waking up like this. He shook his head. He told them the team name that he just made up on the spot. Then he was assigned his first job! He felt giddy with excitement. He wanted to run out and get it done, but he had been told to wait there. So, he walked to the front of the room and waited for his partner to get up. He yawned, still a little sleepy as he sat there.

Vor floated out of his bed using Telekinesis, still rather sleepy. He was careful not to let his psychic powers run amok and cause other things in the room to float along with him. On the way out, Vor noticed a familiar face...

"...Van?" Vor said. He used telekinesis to make him float in the air to get his attention. "It's been awhile. How are you and Silva?" He asked calmly.

Snack woke up from his sleep, and looked around to see the others already awake. Snack rubbed his eyes as he sat on the bed. Snack walked over to the Solrock, who was finishing giving out the assignments for the new teams. Snack saw Van by the front of the room and walked over to Van.

" Hey, we never introduced ourselves, I'm Snack, nice to meet you," Snack said, with a big smile on his face.

Van was a little startled when he floated into the air. He looked around and spotted Vor. Whoa! He hadn't thought his friend was here too!
"Vor?! What the heck are you doing here?! It really has been a while hasn't it? Anyways, can you put me down now?" Van asked. When Vor obliged, van walked over to him. That was when his new partner introduced himself.
"Hiya Snack! I'm Van! It's nice to meet you! This is my buddy Vor! Anyways, Vor, I'm doing just fine! Silva... Well, she's not doing to well. After you told us about the legends we tried to form a rescue taem and go after them... All we ended up doing was getting hurt. So, I decided to join the guild. And Silva said she'll be right behind me when she recovers. We're going to take care of this, like I said we would! We just need some more time to get strong! How about you Snack? You in for this too?" Van said happily. He grinned at the Elekid.

Vor put Van down onto the ground. "Hmm... well as long as she turns out being alright. I never would have expected these events to actually happen... I join because, well I feel like I have to do something about it." He said, tipping his hat to both of the Pokemon. "Well, I'm wishing you both the best of luck. Just try not to end up like your girlfriend. I doubt she would want that." Vor sighed for a moment.

"Sorry I didn't go with you two. I was just in so much shock that I wasn't sure what I should have done. I helped some of the others recover from all of the natural disasters but still I wish I could have helped. Maybe that would have changed things a bit..."

"Wake up everyone!" Luna's pestering voice woke Navi up giving him splitting pain. I'm up Navi said rolling out of the bed. Although Jake didn't get up, so Luna poked him with one of her spikes. That looked like in hurt. Navi thought. "Seems as though we're partners. Lets try not to hold each other back," Jake said. "I'll try not to." Navi said jokingly. As we got to the common room Luna told every one to work on coming up with a team name. Jake came up with 'Liquid metal' Which Navi thought was brilliant. Apparently some of the other teams had the same idea though. "You two will explore River Elixa. We've heard that some kind of treasure is there somewhere, which no one has been able to find yet. You are still young, so think of some creative way to possibly find the treasure," Luna said to Team Liquid metal. Oh wow! A treasure hunt that sounds like a lot of fun! Navi thought excitedly. They gave us exploration badges, a red scarf and a yellow tie to help boost stats. "So," Jake turned to Navi, "Do you want the tie or the scarf?" "I should probably use the scarf since I'm a little weak on the offensive side." Navi said.

(Each team starts with 300 poke, also in this post will be an example of acceptable bunnying. Having somebody do a simple task like putting something away or walking with you will be pretty much the limit unless you have either a good reason or permission.
And Crebirk, please, please start using correct grammar. It was in the rules, but I'm not about to boot you for it. For example, you keep using third and first person views, which is confusing.)

"Well then," Jake started, "Let's head into Asale town, pick up some things and get going," Jake put on the bow tie. He thought he actually looked pretty good with it on, it went well with his scarf. The two went upstairs to eat a quick breakfast, then waited in the front of the guild with the others for the steam train to arrive. Jake was excited enough that he couldn't speak, and rode the entire trip back to town silently. When the train finally came to a stop, and the steam cleared the entire town was bustling, despite being under the constant threat of natural disasters from every angle. Jake slung the bag over his shoulder and walked up to Minun's shop. "Hello, there! So, I heard you two joined the guild! Have great fun!" The blue pokemon cheered, "Now, what is it that you need?" Jake looked through the stocks on the back shelf, "Four oran berries, please," Jake asked. Minun climbed a ladder to the top and expertly tossed them down onto the counter. "That will be 80 poke, please," Jake looked to Navi, "Can you get that please? You'll have to do most of the putting things away until I evolve, because, well, I don't have hands yet," Jake said, a little embarrassed, rubbing his scythes' smooth sides against each other. Navi gave Minun the 80 poke and put the berries in the bag. "Thanks! See you again!" Minun called when they started walking away. "We should put the rest of our money in the bank, just in case either of us does faint. Plus, I've never been in there before," Jake turned right at the statues, saluting to Pheon, his favorite from the events, as he did. Jake walked through a long glass tunnel which led under water to the bank. A few water pokemon greeted them and swam along side as they walked. The building itself was entirely under water and made of glass. You could see the small coral reefs as well as the entrance to the dungeon further off. He walked up to Sharpedo, who was behind the glass, behind a big air bubble. "We would like to deposit our 220 poke," Jake informed him. "Yarr, it shall rest here in Davy Jones's locker until ye return," he was a piratey old pokemon, which almost made Jake laugh. Navi pushed the coins through the air bubble, and it fell through onto the sand. Sharpedo scooped it up in his jaws, and dumped it into an empty chest. "Ye have a good day, little ones." Jake couldn't help but smile, "Thank you, sir," and he walked out of the neat bank, stopping at the statues and sitting at Pheon's pointed toes. "So, is there anything else we should get, or are you ready to go?"

(New SU sheet for pokemon that join your team (you must complete at least two missions before Luna will let you recruit):

Name (optional):
Species:
item (optional, and don't make it too drastic. No zigzagoon with an Earthquake TM, or a shelder with a gold scarf)
moves (only 4):
nature:

Notice how there is no "appearance?" That's because any recruited pokemon will not be shiny or have an interesting color. IT WILL BE A NORMAL POKEMON!)

Van turned back to Vor with a big grin.
"Silva's gonna be just fine! She was up and walking yesterday! So I know she'll be alright in a couple of days!" Van said with a cheerful grin. He nodded his head to some more of what Vor was saying.

"Yeah, me too. I wanted to help, but I can't do much by myself, so I joined the guild" Van said in agreement. He knew he had to do something. After all, he was pretty tough. But not tough enough. He needed more training. So, he would train as hard as he could.

"Hey, don't worry about not coming with us! You would have just gotten hurt too. We were way in over our heads. So, it's not a problem now! We all just have to work hard and do our part and we'll get better!" Van said. He was glad someone he knew was in the guild too. That would be awesome! He grinned at Snack and Vor. He sat down again and waited to be told what to do.

Hugo jumped out of the plane. Looking down at the island below he was more excited than ever. He stared at the train heading to the station. Hugo landed on the ground smoothly just before the train arrived! He looked up and saw a Solrock who introduced herself as Luna, strangely. Then she gave the group a tour. Hugo didn't pay attention so didn't know anybody's names. Finnaly the teams were given and Hugo was assigned with an Elgyem called Vor. He watched as the Elgyem tipped his Fedora to him and floated off. We live in two completely different worlds, Hugo thought.

After everybody fell asleep Hugo got out his Xtransceiver he had stolen from somebody in the Unova region. Geo appeared on the screen. "Hey Geo, I've got a team mate now. His name is Vor and hes an Elgyem who wears a fedora."
"Wears a fedora? Well must be just him. Anyway hows it going!" Geo asked.
"Don't have a clue of anybody's name except Vor, a Solrock called Luna, a Lunatone called Sol and a Hydreigon called Luke."
"Cool! Well you'd better get to sleep before your caught!" Hugo turned of the Xtranceiver and went to sleep.

Hugo woke up the next day and stretched his arms and legs. He was ready for anything. He made sure he had his knife then got out of bed.

Vor nodded Happily and turned around to notice that his Partner, Hugo, had woken up. He certainly looked pumped, but he was a Riolu. That was usually normal behavior. "Hugo Correct? I'm Vor Hinvick. Just call me Vor. Everyone tends to do that anyway. Alot of folk have trouble just saying my last name as is. Haha." He said happily.

"...If anything, I say we go into town and pick up some supplys before we're hit with a rescue mission. We have multipurpose so its best to prepare for the worst eh?" Vor explained.

(I have a plan for a mission for our team to do. I'll set it in place when they get to town)

(I already gave you guys a mission. The characters can't come up with their own missions. They must be given by either Zeke or the faction leaders (who will be played by me during mission giving), not you)

(Oy I missed that detail. This stuff is really easy to look over when you don't indent your paragraphs. It looks all smooshed together and can be a real pain to read through.)

(yea, I should start doing that. Sorry. Indents aren't really grammar, but it makes it hard to read, which is the point of having good grammar. I'll start indenting.)

Snack waited as Van and Vor continued to converse, talking about someone named Silva, but that name did not strike any chords for Snack. Van asked if Snack was in for this as well, and Snack responded,

" Yea, i'm ready."

Van nodded and turned back to talk to Vor, referring to this Silva that was frequently brought up. Snack waited, and grabbed a chest assigned to him and Van. Snack picked up the chest and placed it down in front of Van.

" Hey, Van," Snack begun,

" Look at this cool stuff inside the chest. A Scarf to increase attack, and a tie to increase speed. We should share the Poke and pick one of the accessories for ourselves," Snack added.

" Which one do you want," Snack asked Van.

Van grinned at Snack as he grabbed a kit for them.
"Well, I'm already really quick, plus I'd look stupid in a tie, so I'll swap the scarf with the one I'm wearing. It doesn't do anything cool like that one does anyways!" Van said. He proceeded to do just that. He sat down and used his front paw to pull the old scarf off and put the new one on. He grinned up at Snack.

"Alright! You have no idea how pumped I am to do this mission!" Van informed his partner. He got back to his feet and shook himself off. After making sure his new scarf wasn't going anywhere, he sat and waited for them to get to him and his partner.

"So... I wonder when they will come and tell us why they wanted us to wait," Van wondered aloud.

pokefan, welcome to the site, and if one of the inactive people, i.e. crebirk, doesn't post within the, lets say next 24 hours, then you'll be my new partner, ok? Also, you skipped the gender part. I'm guessing Rafael is a boy though. And also, this goes for everyone, THIS IS A PMD ROLE PLAY! The countries in the anime do not exist. You either came from some made up town, have lived in Asale all your life, or came fro one of the towns from the original two games. Since the original one didn't have a name, we'll call it Discovery Town.
