Before anyone asks, YES, I am putting reality in a pokémon game. And the "weird parts of pokémon" threads are much too broad a subject, but feel free to close this if I'm wrong.

So I was just scrolling through some pokédex entries on my Pokémon Platinum, and I noticed that crobat had a (you guessed it) inaccurate description.
    This is what it said:
The transformation of its legs into wings made it better at flying, but more clumsy at walking.

Although Crobat does have wings, he actually has feet clearly depicted on his back, and he doesn't have a footprint.

Now some of you may say "Well, Crobat lost them in Generation IV."
Well, I'd like someone to actually explain how this is possible in only about 3 years(considering that Crobat actually lost his feet, since his back sprite is just more close up now), if you are following the current fan theory of the pokémon timeline. And please don't use "it's a game, it isn't supposed to make sense" as an excuse, I want a real reason to why they deliberately lie. Or maybe they just do half assed work and forget about it.
    Something else.
    Igglybuff.
It has a soft and bouncy body. Once it starts bouncing, it becomes impossible to stop.
Well, at least it can learn bounce. But if the pokédex data is in fact correct, then bounce should be a move that never stops until Igglybuff is knocked out. Of course, you can say that this isn't REAL bouncing or something along those lines, but wouldn't that make the move "bounce" inaccurate? If so, then what is bounce supposed to be, other than a bounce?
And lastly, Mantyke. This is found on Pearl instead of Platinum, but potato potato.
Scientists discovered that the distinctive patterns on its back differ from region by region.
Well, I'm pretty sure that Mantyke didn't get a revamp sprite in HG/SS, so can anyone explain to me why Mantyke has the exact same back sprite as in D/P/P? They did that with Spinda in only a few routes, so we know that it is completely feasible and possible. I don't know if Mantyke does indeed have a new back sprite in HG/SS, but I would like for anyone to check this out if they can.
I won't even argue with the sheer absurdity of some of them, such as Smoochum kissing everything to test if it likes it or not, and Larvitar eating mountains just to evolve into Pupitar.

    tl;dr
The pokédex is either deliberately lying, or it had an offensively stupid person program it.

Now that that is over with, discuss other inaccurate pokédex entries(from any generation of course :/) But please, just don't mention Arceus. Everyone knows that it is the so called god of pokémon when it isn't even stated as the god except by fanboy laymen.
