I am working on creating a framework for Unity that will allow people to make accurate-to-official Pokémon styled games.
It's currently still in it's early development stage, but the video below showcases what it can currently do.

Here's a quick rundown of what is currently in the framework:
    - Gen 3+ styled movement for the player
    - Highly configurable NPCs
    - The ability to select a starter Pokémon
    - Follower Pokémon
    - Wild battles
    - Trainer battles - Added on 6/4
    - Pokémon exp system, complete with leveling up - added 6/5
    - Partially implemented pause menu
    - Day-Night cycle with encounters changing depending on the time

What's not yet in, but will be over the coming days:
    - Battle items
    - Overworld item collectables
    - Bag system

I'd like to add that I am looking for people looking to help with this project. I need someone willing to help out by extracting all attack effect animations from the gen 3 games and put them together as animated gifs. And other people who have knowledge of how C# works would also be welcome. This is my first Unity project and by extension, also my first C# project.
