No, I don't think so. It is somewhere on Acanthite's own forum, but why play it when even Fang says not to? Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to it as much as anyone, but I'm being as patient as possible. Besides, the old Demo is almost nothing like the current Acanthite, if I'm not mistaken.
 
well...maybe just to get a feel for it? i know it sold...but that makes me think the newer one is even better
 
You won't get a feel for Acanthite from the old demo. Completely out of date engine, and nothing visually is the same either. It gives you no indication whatsoever of what Acanthite will be like :) Don't bother even looking.
 
I liked the old demo...
I remember using pokeballs to capture the Gym leader's Pokemon. Hehe, good glitchy times!

Anyway. Can't wait for the new demo. Just shows what determination can do!

Hoboy..........given what Serebii.net just learned from HGSS, unless Acanthite has already gone down that route, your storyline might have just run into a big continuity roadblock - you'll know what I mean eventually if ya' don't already.
 
Kamon certainly is much busier now with HG/SS involved, yeah. Not only does it confirm that Giovanni is his father, but he was born in Kanto. Really hope that doesn't screw anything Acanthite up; sure, you could go ahead and ignore the in-game canon, but I know it might discourage some people regardless...
 
Well, considering HGSS doesn't explain exactly WHAT Kamon was up to during the three year gap, I don't see much of a problem. Besides, this game was *PROBABLY* conceived before Nintendo even thought about implementing Kamon and Giovanni's story into their games. It's just another way for them to discourage the fan-made community.....
