Thats the thing though I am pretty sure my haunter at least has to be maxed out happiness and it still won't evolve I used the soothe bell since I first caught it and even had it get a bunch of hair cuts. It is now level 57 and still hasn't evolved. I changed the settings of the game to incorporate the night and day function I have been training it at night only still it has yet to evolve I wasn't if I was doing something wrong, I also forgot to ask if we can catch cubone in this hack I know we can get marowak just not sure about cubone Thanks for the info though
 
With Haunter and Kadabra, I messed up with the current beta, b/c I forgot that FireRed doesn't have a day and night system, so it can't do evolutions by day and night. The next beta will have them evolve through happiness, so just wait until that release to evolve them, or use YAPE to edit the conditions for evolution.

Alright I thought I was doing something wrong lol. Alright I hadn't played the hack in a while a few questions I had are.1 If I beat the elite 4 will I be able to do the orange islands? 2 After patching on a clean rom for the elite 4 part I noticed that some events I already completed are reappearing is that bad? 3 How tough will the next few episodes be I have overly powered pokemon and want to know if I should train new ones to keep things challengeing. Thanks an advance for any answers you can provide Metapod and this is a great hack keep up the good work!

You can edit it for personal use, but not for release.

That shouldn't really happen. You haven't been messing with any bad eggs, have you?

The levels will be based on in-game play, meaning, not grinding/over-leveling to beat the Elite 4.
 
Thanks for all the answers. The only bad eggs I have even touched are invisble ones that I would randomly get when i moved my pokemon to organize them

kinda obvious

and ya... the events thing happens in Cerulean, if u lose to misty once... it skips to the Misty Mermaid event... didnt have badge so couldnt continue and was stuck in pewter

plus Misty Mermaid just doesnt work for me... it always skips over =.=

I've seen that happen, I'll have to see what's wrong with it.
 
Oh god, this is fantastical. Seriously, I can not thank you enough for such an amazing hack. I've started a Let's Play on it, hopefully I can bring in some more publicity.
 
It's gotten progressively harder since I started work again to find episodes of the anime online. It seems there's been a crackdown on it. :\

Hi, I've been working on a hack of FireRed for a Pokemon Anime Version of the game that basically follows the same events of the anime. I see that there have been hacks like this already, so I'm not sure how good mine would be in comparison. But I started this because I wanted to make videos of playing Pokemon all the way through with Ash's lineup, to see just how it would go and it snowballed from there.

I'm going to try to (if possible) cover the events from each episode in the Kanto and Orange League series. The story follows the same one as the anime, including events, etc. I've basically hacked up to episode 50 now. You should expect a new Beta every 25 episodes or so, barring updates for bugs/glitches.

u can find all the pokemon episodes at watchpokemonepisodes . com they have full episodes for free of pokemon from seasons 1- now
 
Metapod i did all of those events and he still wont let me pass i did not move bad eggs either

omg i really need help , i nolifed this game over half year ago but then i made it played it to the "end" , at this time the game end was in the forrest with exxugator part or something dont remember anymore.. so then i forgot this game due to irl reasons , but now i found it again and i want to play because i love this game it but i have few noob questions

1. how do i play this game ( i forgot it ) , which emulator i need and is the 3.6.1 dl link the actual one?

2.how do i update the game if a new version comes out? because ive basicly quit it when i "finished" it at the game , do i just have to download the new version and can play with my old savestate?

please reply fast i was addicted to this game and i love it

by the way sorry for my terrible english

1) VBA and yes, 3.6.1 is the actual one.
2) Load your old version, save in any PC, delete the old version ROM, patch the clear FR, put it into the folder with save states and load ;)
 
Jett, you have to talk to professor Oak first and do the episodes beforehand
