This bothers me. Now they're just trying to eliminate their humble beginnings. Why did they feel this was necessary? Ash won't be around there anyways.

What will be the fate of his Pokemon? Are they all still in Pallet; did they get transferred somewhere?
 
Wait wha? Huh. I don't know what to say actually. What the ****? That's it. I don't even know anymore. I'm, like, slapping my face right now for some reason. I'm disappointed for some reason. I give up I guess. Ash not from Pallet Town anymore. Sounds weird.

e: Link or it didn't happen? I don't know anymore.

Are you kidding me? It said that in this Sundays Preview? Well, now there's def no chance of Tracey or Misty cameoing LOL. Can any one give me this link?
 
That's my point though, why don't they just leave Ash also. Oak won't be in the games, so probably not in the Anime either. It's all messed up :( Perfect time to get rid of Ash, but they don't. </3

They should've started with a new protagonist then. Another missed chance writers. Can't wrap my mind around not seeing the Oak again. Or Tracey. Or Misty. Doubt that Dawn's going to appear now.
 
So, wait, all of a sudden the past, like...ten+ years of the anime are meaningless?

In a word...bullcrap.
 
Well we saw a glimpse of Ash with his Mother driving a car, probably in Isshu. (Did his mom even have a car?)

If Ash really moves there it would be dumb since he would not be from the Pallet anymore. I think Ash's mom has a relative and wan't her to visit, and Delia decides to take Ash with him, and Ash decides to stay there untill his league challange is over, it could be possible that Araragi would be his relative, who knows.

Or it could be that they accually got a call from Ash's Dad who accually found a good job and place to live in Isshu and accually calls Dalia and Ash to live with him, or something.

Endless possibilities :P

Also, it'll be weird not seeing Oak, like Delia will be lost. No Misty, May, Brock for cameos :( What about Gary? No way Shooti is replacing him.

Writers = Hypocrite. Pikachu isn't meant to be in Isshu. It's a new eco-system they say. Argh I hate them. Let go of freakin' Ash!

Oak's going to be there, they showed him on the Best Wishes website, maybe to transfer his old Pokemon or some thing is my guess. Plus he's popular in other regions so...Pikachu is a mascott of the show, people would cry if he left and Ash is still very popular in both Japan and America.
No chance of him and Pikachu leaving, still this was a very bold move by the Pokemon people, its like hey lets act like none of that happened. Iris will be the new Misty and Dento will be the new Brock??? I'm ok with it as long as they are different from those characters a we bit. Now we won't see Misty or Brock any more ouch LOL. Dawn's not in Kanto so she could still appear who knows.
 
What's the point of bringing Team Rocket along too? They could've had three new idiots to have Ash follow him around. I guess it's safe to say Dawn won't be making another appearance like Misty and May had? She might still appear but it looks unlikely sadly.
 
Like I said, she doesn't live in Kanto like Misty does, some new idea for her to come to that region could happen. Ask for Team Rocket, well they follow Ash every where no matter what region >>
Maybe they are trying to replace them too with this whole new Team Rocket thing they have going,
 
I doubt she'll make an appearance. It seems like the writers are just trying forget about everything else that happened and start totally fresh sadly. I would've also preferred a new daily antagonist still. New show still has the old stench of Team Rocket around sadly.

If the writers intended to do that, they also would have removed Ash as well. I know I would have if I were the writers and I wanted the show to be absolutely fresh. You can't even allow important things to exist if they are old and thus get away with the freshness.

Agreed. It seems fresh in the writer's minds is nothing but "Get rid of all of the old characters besides Ash and his family and Pikachu!" I wonder why they decided to have him move though. It seems like such an extreme for a journey.
 
First thought to come in mind after this was: Ash is moving? XD I'm really interested in seeing the reason for this. I guess when the writers were aiming for the original start, they weren't kidding. It'll be funny Ash actually "living" in the Isshu region now. It makes me feel like Kanto wasn't the start of anything anymore.

I can't really point whether this is a good thing? bad thing? or just a crazy move on the writer's part? But I'm waiting to see how it all plays out. As long as the past isn't forgotten, then I'm fine. Pokémon, while it's aiming for a new start, they shouldn't forget the roots that started them.

As for Dawn's cameo, I find it highly unlikely now. It would give a reasonable excuse as to why Dawn had so much more attention in the DP saga than the previous girls.
