Sir do you have any social media accounts like discord so will always be updated about the games progress?

So how do you get the new generation pokemon? or they still cannot be obtained
Read the note i added to the original post which explains a bit more

I have had a number of people ask about later Gen Pokemon.. Let me explain. Yes they are available in the game itself as data - however in the current progress of the DEMO, they are not found in the wild YET - this is due to the game's lore + story being FAITHFUL to canon, meaning Gen 1 in Kanto. HOWEVER, there are Gen 1 regional forms available to BATTLE with some trainers (meowth, rattata etc...) You CAN obtain a regional Pokemon in the demo as part of the story - but SPOILERS... In terms of later Gen availability - they will become available in the Wild when players reach Sevii Islands late game...

Progress Update:
- Moveset update: Removed DragonBreath and Dragon Rage from Charmander: Too powerful this early on

- Kanto has been completely remapped, with a new area added: Celadon City Beach. There are also planters dotted around routes/cities. These will hold berry trees. The aim is to implement a berry planting system at some point (WIP)

- Trainers have been buffed (running a play through now to test balance) - looking at avoiding 1 hit KOs

- Infinite TMs removed: I have decided to improve challenge and encourage players to think about their builds that TMs are no longer reusable. (Don't expect this to be a popular decision but imo it will increase challenge and encourage players to use Marts more wisely with selling/buying items)

- Dive partly implemented: the skeleton of a Dive system similar to RSE. Players will receive a Key Item called "Sharpedo Suit" which allows players to dive in Dive Spots. No HM or Dive move required. (There are already enough water HM moves in this game) this opens up even more areas to explore both Kanto and Sevii Islands

- Story: Rock Climb sidequest event started. Saffron Sewers dungeon mapping started.

Just saw your update on the Post-game being worked on. Is it safe to assume the main story for the Kanto region is fully completed?

No not yet, story is up to saffron city/silph co building at the moment.

After that it will be cinnabar/Pokémon mansion.

Then sevii islands 1st visit - this is where one of the main Mewtwo/team rocket events will take place (not catch Mewtwo yet)

Then will be badge 8 (but an extra part of story before encountering the gym)

Then elite 4 as usual.

Post elite 4 will be last of the mewtwo arc with a small visit to sevii islands before final encounter in cerulean cave.

Once that's complete the world will be fully open with the full Sevii islands, new post game legendaries and areas in Kanto, and then the start of the Team Rocket Megas arc
