Ll, i only found this out a week ago:

ROCK IS SUPER EFFECTIVE AGAINST ICE!!

Lol, im so stupid :D

Y'know, type-trumping isn't everything. Battling is a lot deeper than that. a lot deeper than that. Take Mantine, for example. He's Water/ Flying. Given the typing, you'd think he'd die from Charge Beam, right? Wrong! Mantine can survive easily, thanks to his Base 140 SDef, and counter with Earthquake. Of course, Earthquake won't do much, given Mantine's 40 Base Attack (even if it's Super Effective), but that's not the point.

EDIT: Tater, were those Rock-types Rock/GROUND? Ice is SE against Ground.

Oh, maybe I'm thinking about Ground types then. XD Sorry..
. .
, ,

Same thing with Gyarados, same types as Mantine, everyone thinks he's Dragon type though.. XD
That's why people underestimate Magikarp, they think he's pathetic, but he can turn into that big thing.

Mantine certainly can't survive with this scenario

Pikachu v. Mantine
Pikachu used Thunderbolt--Same attack-type advantage (x1.5) STAB multiplies by 1.5, btw.
Super Effective (x4) Mantine has a x4 weakness.
Critical Hit (x2) Crits multiply by 2.
Light Ball (x2)

Mantine gets smoked

Well... shut up. Anyway, why are you figuring criticals into your equations? It should be stuff that can be relied on.

And seriously, who uses Pikachu? Raichu is much better, and doesn't need a Light Ball.

Yeah but people just like to use pikachu and this is posible with light ball ....

your dumnb it doesnt do x2 to base power but to it's stat ...

so 50 becomes 100 versus that nice 140 evn dont say a critical hit unless your using move like night slash or stone edge ...

Raichu is an awesome pokemon, and learns much more moves then Pikachu, but I'm a fan of Manectric. ^_^

It doesnt matter There all UU anyways ....

..No, Raichu has something that Pikachu doesn't have, and it's MUCH better than a simple attack boost that can be obtained by using "Nasty Plot"

If you do not know what Raichu has that Pikachu does NOT have, open the spoiler:

Spoiler:

I would IV a Beldum with good Speed, as it's a slow Pokemon

That's actually the reason you don't IV a Beldum in Speed. Even with a flawless Spd IV and maxed Spd EVs, he's not outrunning anybody. It's better to focus into his Defenses. Remember, always focus on a Pokemon's strengths.

Nah, Metagross doesn't really require Speed, just make sure you get the IV at least over 17+.

(airconditioning, I use Agiligross =P)
