I don't Jessie is James' type :O

Phanmia, you didn't spell it wrong.. it's Butch.. but they always mix up his name in the dub ;D

The Wobbuffet Mistake?

Wobbuffet's japanese name means "That's Right" or something like that.. But when it was translated into english, that meaning was lost. In the Japanese version of the anime, Wobbuffet would steal Meowth's line "That's right", and Meowth would get pissed off everytime. But, in the dub, because of the translation mistake, Wobbuffet doesn't exactly "steal" Meowth's line since there is no meaning for the word "Wobbuffet" in English.

Hope that explained it ^^

yeh......i quite like wobbafet but he has a bad movepool

Actually, Wobbuffet doesn't really have a bad movepool. Some people even call it Uber/OU... It's because Wobbuffet was built for defense, especially because it has the moves Counter and Mirror Coat at the same time...

Heh. I remember the old days of Gold and Silver. I loved using Wobbuffet against NPCs, as they would hardly ever switch, and after they finally got it down to red HP I could just knock it back up with Full Restore/Max Potion.

Good times.

Oh, the difference is Shadow Tag, which gives Wobbuffet a lot of its power (because you have no ability to switch out). However, G/S/C had no abilities, so Wobbuffet had no Shadow Tag. However, since NPCs hardly ever switch their pokemon, so the effect is usually the same (hence my mentioning of NPCs at all).

To answer your first question - they don't because they have no ability to do so because of Shadow Tag (well, in some instances they do, but not usually).
