[Completed] Pokémon Electrum 2

Progress has slowed down considerably this week, as I've been sick for several days now.

At this point we have 11 Gyms programmed and ready to go, while all of the maps up to the Pokemon League have now been completed.

Erbil City (pictured below) is the site of the Shinto League, where you will face off against the Elite Four and Champion. Unlike Johto, upon completion of the league you will be able to take part in exhibition rematches against the Elite Four.

Wanted to give everyone an update, as it has been several days.

Covid has struck our home, but thanks to our local health department losing the test results we didn't know. My Mom ended up in the hospital over Christmas, thankfully she is back home and doing much better. We all are.

I plan to resume programming tomorrow, I'm still at the 12th gym and have a little more to go, plus some polishing before the release. Really hoping to do a large-scale post game adventure but we'll see how things go.

Appreciate the patience, it'll be worth the wait.

Happy to announce that the main game has been completed!

I'll be working on some moveset edits next before I begin work on the 2nd region.

At present, you can catch most all of the Pokemon available in the game, save for a few legendaries. The legendary Pokemon of Shinto are available to catch post-Champion. There are seven, one of which is not new.

Region #2 is planned to contain 8 gyms along with a post-game quest for it as well. This child of mine is due to arrive next month once we're clear of this illness, so final release may be delayed. However, I do plan on releasing what I have completed the next time I'm able to do so. No clue when we're back to work, the only place I can make an upload within a few minutes instead of several hours.

Here's the first look at region #2, a definite favorite since Emerald was the first main game I ever played.

The region has been downsized. You're visiting Hoenn in the winter season when the seas are very rough, but thanks to Captain Stern there is a ferry system running in the eastern part of the region now. This post-game story takes place several months after the events of Pokemon Emerald.

Are you just starting out?

As the game begins you'll hear a tone that goes on for a few seconds while the screen is black, then it will shift over to the train station where you begin.

Can't understand why it has you in that void, will it work out with a restart?

I'm here to help, don't be sorry ^_^

I'm not sure. When it comes to these weird glitches I hate that I can't offer any insight on it... Even trying to look up problems from the first game sometimes I had no luck at all.

Do you remember where you saved your game? Sorry to ask so many questions, I want to narrow down and see if I can replicate this problem. I'm very sorry you're experiencing it.

That's really strange... I've been looking around online to see if I could find a solution or even if anyone else had experienced it but no luck... : (

Essentials has a lot of weird glitches that for some reason don't show up on the creator's end. I wish they did...

I don't know if it will fix anything but I'm going to release the next version here in a few weeks...
