![[PokeCommunity.com] Pokémon Electrum 2 [PokeCommunity.com] Pokémon Electrum 2](https://i.imgur.com/SUuoMlw.png)
Background Information:
Spoiler:
The idea of a game based in my Shinto Region actually came up well before I began making what eventually became Pokemon Electrum. Back then I was using programs that I wasn't very with and so the game was very limited with what I could do. Following success with Electrum using Essentials, I decided to get back into the Shinto story.
Plot:
Welcome to the Shinto Region! Johto's northern neighbor has remained off the radar for Trainers over the years, but things have been buzzing lately and they've been flocking to the region.
Unfortunately, not very many have made it back home. Six months ago, what has become known as "The Night of Gnashing Teeth" happened in Shinto and a total of 348 Trainers haven't been seen since. While Team Rocket is active in Shinto, witnesses from that night refer to "Monsters" or "Beasts" attacking people. Whether or not they're linked to something the criminal syndicate has done is unclear, but seems very unlikely.
Following your success in Johto with both the Pokemon League and against Team Rocket's branch in the region, Professor Elm has sent you on a special undercover mission into the Shinto Region to see if you can find out what's really going on. Blend in as a Trainer, take on the Gyms and get ready for an adventure you'll certainly never forget!
Project Status:
The game is finished!
Features:
Spoiler:
-A special Bulbasaur can be obtained in Tallinn Town, as thanks for all who played and were patient with the trials and errors that came about with Electrum's release. Just like the Spikey-eared Pichu, it will NOT evolve.
-Twelve gyms to challenge, each with a unique puzzle that will require more thought than simply battling Trainers.
-Over 300 Pokemon to catch including many Beta Pokemon never released. You will find Pokemon from Generations 1-4.
-Fairy Type has been added and the Digital Type carries over from the first game, expanding the number of species available.
-Audio events are present, so keep your sound on.
-New music for towns & routes along with battle themes for gyms and their leaders.

-Most Pokémon are found only in one area, usually four different species in one place.
-Moves & abilities through Generation 5.
-New design for Pokemon Centers, merging them with PokeMarts.
-Gyms now have lobbies where you can heal your Pokemon or buy items, saving you trips!
-Two full regions to explore, with another being limited to certain areas.

-Re battle the Shinto Elite Four in exhibition matches!
-Hoenn's Battle Frontier returns, resembling the anime version.
-More to come!

Changes from Electrum:
Spoiler:
-Bellboyant is now a Dark/Fairy-type.
-A change in type-effectiveness. Ice is super-effective against Water. Bug and Poison moves are super-effective on each other, a nod to Gen 1.
-Twinz no longer evolves into Girafarig. There's an explanation in the Pokedex for this.

FAQs:
Spoiler:
-All movesets, save for the Beta Pokemon, use their Gen V movesets.
-I'm encountering this error: "Script 'SpriteWindow_sprites' line 30: RuntimeError occured filename is nil". See Post #9 Here. Alternatively, see post #208 by Skaribas, as they seem to have found a very easy fix!
-Where is this item? I have no idea where are any items once I've placed them unless they are given as part of story.
-Pokemon Contests & Battle Tents? Neither are functional as I don't know how to program those.
-Hoenn? Yes, Hoenn has been scaled-down much how Kanto was for the post-game in G/S/C both for nostalgia and time.

Gym Challenges:
Spoiler:
Pristina City- Navigate the ice maze and press the three switches, opening the path to the Leader.
Pripyat Town- Answer the questions correctly or be sent outside.
Petra Village- Mine the items required and give them to the Hikers.
Astana City- Win 1,000 coins in the arcade and buy the item. (You will be refunded)
Yerevan Town- Complete the slider puzzles.
Hrodna Town- Find the Gym Leader within the tall grass, three times.
*Riga Village- Navigate the maze of death, press the switch and reach the Gym Leader without fainting your entire team.
Port Batumi- Choose a teleporter, then face the Leader. His difficulty depends on your choice, choose wisely.
Dubrovni City- Defeat the special Pokemon, then face the Leader in a double battle with only two Pokemon.
Podgori Town- Use the arrow tiles to make your way to the back of the Gym. One wrong move sends you back to the start!
Sinaia City- Wander a dark room in search of the Leader, using certain sounds to guide you. Running into them will trigger the battle.
Sarajev Town- Some faces from the past will block your path, defeat them to reach your final Gym Badge!
*You MUST have six Pokemon, as there is only one path to the Gym Leader/Switch. You will likely have five Pokemon fainted before you reach the safe area unless you are VERY lucky. Take it slow, memorize your paths. You will need to press the switch again if you press it once, then black out afterward before reaching the Leader.

Important Notes:
-Make certain you speak to everyone! Not only will some characters offer items or trades, but certain pieces of information will save you later. Be observant, explore the Shinto Region!
-Not every Pokemon you encounter can be caught in the game, this is mostly with one group due to their original base and Shinto's relative seclusion from that area. Remember that many trainers from all over are coming to Shinto, so they'll have Pokemon not native to the region.
-I don't go by any sort of guide when it comes to unreleased Pokemon, so their names, stats, moves and types may be different than what others have them. Use your Pokedex and find out what Shinto says about them!
- I am in the middle of the adoption process for a two year-old, so needless to say my hands will be quite full in the near future, hopefully before Christmas. I have every intention to complete this project, but I will likely need more time than what it took with the first game.
Bugs/Glitches:
-Cell Phone can't be registered. Likely due to it being the actual move Fly, just use it from the Key Items page.
-Hoenn Tileset has quite a few oddities to it, but nothing game-breaking.
New Shinto Pokemon all have Pokeballs for their menu sprites, this is temporary and will be changed (if I've time) for the final version's release.
*Please note that there will be a tone when you start the game, text will appear once it plays. This isn't a glitch and is intentional.
