Hello! First of all, thank you for playing!

Second, thank you for sharing your feedback on the game. As a fellow completionist, I understand the frustration of encountering a quest (despite being an optional one) where the progress is blocked, especially after investing so much time. To be honest, this specific sidequest is deliberately designed to be a bit more challenging than the rest. In this point, I wanted to create a mission where a small decision from the past comes back to haunt you. However, your points are valid. Perhaps in one of the next updates I may tweak the dialogue slightly to give the player a hint that this item may be useful later on.

agents of Illusion, but I can not for the life of me find where the director of the star center went. As far as I know sidequest wise, its the only thing I'm missing before heading off to part B, but I've spent 3 hours looking for her. Did I miss some dialogue that gave a hint? Or did I make a misstep and lock myself out of this somehow?

Edit: Forgot about the serial killer case, gotta solve that one first, too.

The agents I've found so far are the fisherman at Astrantia Docks, the Head Archaelogist, The Karyap Monastery Master, and the Ranger at Lake Malta. My main problem is that since I can't reenter Illusion's hideout, I can't view the list of agents again. I saved a photo of most of them, but apparently not all. If you'd be willing to even just provide a repeat of the text off of that sign, thatd be awesome. Also a small hint on where to even start looking for the serial killer case would be awesome as well. Sorry for the huge number of requests, I'm just kinda a completionist and this is reminding me of how much i missed in the original Xenoblade Chronicles, LOL.

Granted Astrantia's police chief has assigned you the case, you need to find 3 hints in total that will help you piece together who is the killer (and unlock his/her hideout). One is visiting a place near Karyap Monastery that has something to do with an incident of the past and the other two are talking with two different people in Azurea city. It is very subtle and you can possibly piece it together only if you have met the killer earlier in the game (you can't guess his/her dark secret at that time), which I bet you have probably done. Tell me if you need more hints about that mission.

I assume the 3 hints I'm supposed to obtain are the well/shrine below the waterfall in Karyap (Which I couldn't interact with. I don't know if I should be able to or not, but I did read the sign.) Talked with the caretaker, and the old lady, who lost her daughter, Thalia. I don't know if the caretaker and old lady count as two seperate hints, but I can't seem to return to the police chief about it, and my only thoughts on where his hideout would be would either be somewhere in Dimini, which despite being close to Azurea and the Crystal Sea, I doubt, since that was Mr. Bee's place, or past the path on route one blocked by double strength rocks which, to my knowledge, is completely unpassable.

Despite my inability to solve certain basic puzzles or have a memory span longer than 15 minutes, I've really enjoyed this hack so far. The less modernized feel is super nostalgic, and I actually enjoy it as it feels rather fresh. I've been purposely using a team of Pokemon that I haven't used before (or as few times as I can remember. I've played a LOT of hacks/fangames and used a lot of mons at least once.) and it's definitely making my experience more enjoyable. Literally the only gripe I've had so far is

the forced loss to Allen. My Galvantula was about 10 levels underlevelled here and was able to almost permanently stall him battle after battle until I gave up, not wanting to waste any more PP items.

But again, other than that one tiny thing, this game has been phenomenal. Thank you

I've talked to him before, but all he says now is"Oh, kido! Nice to see you here! Go visit your mom. She is living in a beautiful house somewhere around." Other than that, theres the kid watching Bleach, the fisherman who says "Have you visited the STAR CENTER?", the sailor who tells you to get lost, the Marill guy, the aura sphere teacher, and the guy who tells you a story about a monk. The only other NPC of seemingly any consequence is the guy who tells the story of Captain Pires. I can't seem to find anyone mentioning the lady's daughter at the port. Is there a one-time piece of text I missed? Unless its the old monk with the bulbasaur from the route 1 cave?

Edit: Yep. Last time i revisited the area of the old monk, I only checked the dark grass spot as if there was a hidden item there (like normal FRLG berries), but never checked the wall. Sorry for the barrage of questions.

Oh also, this is the first time i've bothered to make an account on this site, even though i'm one of the most avid hack players i know. This is peak pokemon hack>>. i really don't think i've ever enjoyed a romhack this much. i learned new skills with the patching part too. there are some hacks in progress that might compete with the title of favorite, but for now, elysium #1 - AND I'M NOT EVEN FINISHED WITH IT!

One of the best ones I've played in a long time, I'm not really tech-savvy and I'm only using my phone when playing so now that I'm done with the first part of the game I need to do some patching and saving which I'm not sure what to do on since I am kinda not good at files and stuff. You need to patch part B normally to a clean FR rom like you would do for every game and then load the last save state of part A to continue. In many emulators you need to rename the save state so it can be loaded or you could rename the game to the name part A had. It's a bit of a hassle in a phone but it's nothing very complicated. There's a youtube video that explains what you have to do, you can find it with a simple search.

I finished the game and enjoyed the rest after letting is sit for a few days, excellent work on it. Shame it doesn't have more of a postgame, but I guess that's harder when you work with 2 files as you can't make one big world with small inaccessible areas for postgame. I hope to see more from you in the future!

And I have tested this game for hours multiple saves and resets and I've never ever got a shiny Pidgey or Rattata. Nice!

Hello Kaiser,
Here are some of my thoughts about the game. I had played on 2023 November update so pardon me if any of the issues were resolved

Pros:-

• The story. The story is absolutely amazing. One of the best I have ever seen on a rom hack. The world building, characters was really really good. Imo it was on par with fangames like Reborn/Rejuvenation
• Sidequests. The game has to of sidequests and I personally recommend to complete all of them. They give out great rewards, along with a lot of lore.
• Fakemon. The game has couple of fakemon but they all are wonderfully designed.
• Restricted usage of items in battle. This was a really fun mechanic imo which made the major battles more fun.
• The sprites used for towns, characters were really apt too.

Now for some cons, but when you think about the time, the game came about, they make sense.

• Grinding. The main con of the game was grinding. Speed up key basically doesn't make grinding too bad but nonetheless that problem still exists.
• Backtracking. There's a bit much of backtracking before getting fly. It was sort of irritating but nothing that bad.
• Split into 2 parts. Personally this wasn't a problem for me but people have been facing issues patching and playing 2 parts.

My Final Opinion?
If you are looking for a heavy story based game, please give this a try. It won't disappoint you. Hell I would recommend everyone to play this game. Also the creator of the game is super helpful, you can ask them about any difficulties faced in the game.
