FireRed hack: Pokémon Elysium (GBA)

Yep, don't use them. They are not complete. Download version 2.2.1. It is the latest. Boot up the game and you can verify you have the version in the opening notes. Version 2.3.0 should be out (hopefully) near the end of the next month if you prefer to wait.
I actually may wait, and work on some other romhacks in the meantime.

Thank you for letting me know, and for responding in general. :)

Hello, I've really loved this game so first of all thank you for making and sharing it with all of us.
Now, it's probably mostly a skill issue but I'm dead stuck at

Hello! @BlackKaiser Thank you for creating this great game!

I've been playing this romhack for couple days now during free time and almost finish Part A! I really love it. The main story so far is so good and engaging. Exploring the region is so satisfying because I always find many interesting stuffs, especially lore about places and characters. The difficulty is perfect for player like me who rarely think about battle strategies. Losing battle in this game didn't stressed me at all! Heck, it made me willing to learn and pay more attention about mechanic in Pokemon games because I always want to know more about the story! Thanks to this game so that I actually give hold item to my pokemon :). Can't wait to finish Part A this weekend!

I do have a question about the Bluebell Serial Killer Quest.
Spoiler: Bluebell Serial Killer

So sorry for that! Didn't know how to insert the paragraph as spoiler before, but I've edited that part for spoiler now. Anyway, thank you for the clue! Finally able to finish that quest today and onward to the next adventure:pikathumbsup:

I'm stuck on the Pokemon mercenary side quest where you have to find the shape shifting Pokemon. I can't find the first form. Can anyone help?
This sidequest isn't mentioned in the guide, but it is one I noticed frequently cause confusion. @BlackKaiser, perhaps adding it to the sidequest guide might be something to consider?

Yeah, this will probably be sorted out by the time the next patch drops!

I have a habit of obsessively saving. So i accidently saved here after I instinctively hit the B button when asked to jump here. It is the leap of love near the karyap area. I'm kind of a completionist and I'm so put off by my mistake that I haven't been able to pick the game back up again. I settled on knowing what all things I missed by disabling this potential quest.

This is the area for reference where the lovers of the past jumped off. Is there any way of getting this quest back? Or is there anyway of resetting the event flag of this through a save editor or something?

Edit: This is like one of the best hacks I have ever played so kudos to the one who made this!

Don't worry, there's no quest or anything there. The main character just makes one of two remarks depending on whether you select Yes or No. If you press A, she just says:

You are truly my saviour thanks a lot! Again, this is an amazing rom hack. Haven't even completed it yet and is still in my top 3. Can't wait to play further.

Absolutely love this game, the story has been so so good.

However I am super struggling with a fight in part B that I could do with some help with

Hi! No, but there are two big regions around Camp B where you can visit and find some interesting stuff (and Pokemon).

Hello, thank you for your kind words!

Without giving you away the strategy I find that the following movesets are the most effective in this battle:

Spoiler:

Double post but version 2.3.0 is out. Please note that it's NOT compatible with previous saves. It brings several QoL improvements and some new content.

Version 2.3.0 Changelog
QoL Additions
  • Reusable TMs
  • HM moves are deletable
  • Surf, Fly, and Strength (needed for progression) are now items usable outside of battle
  • BW-style Repel system
  • W.P.A battles are now automated. Players do not need to modify their bag beforehand
  • Added a simplistic Quest Log tracking the main quest and major side quests
  • Introduced "Omni", a tool with several useful functions
Other Changes
  • Around 100 new moves added. Existing Pokémon and trainer party movesets were also adjusted accordingly
  • Graphical improvements and changes including redesigned main character sprites, added missing walking animations etc
  • TMs have been re-distributed thematically and power-wise. TM43 is now Charm, replacing Secret Power
  • A new sidequest was added along with content and several little things in the game's world
  • Much of the dialogue has been revised and polished. (Not perfect yet but I'm trying)
  • The long-standing Cycling Road bug is now fixed (thanks to making the bike mandatory… ahem)
  • Eerie Town's PokeCenter respawn issue has been fixed
  • Several minor bug and tileset fixes

I've been experimenting with adding custom music to the game, but it seems the All Instruments Patch isn't compatible with the current game. Also, this is -probably- going to be the last version that adds new content. The next updates will focus solely on bug fixes and sorting existing stuff and dialogue. And that's all fellas, the end of the road for this game is close.

Awesome! The perfect point to jump in!
