I might be dumb. When/where do I get HM Fly?
It same like vanilla. You will get fly after you beat may after the weather institute event with team aquaI might be dumb. When/where do I get HM Fly?
I did not reicieve after weather station. Didn't fight Rival either so maybe bug. I do have an older version of the romhack. Luckily one of my Pokémon can relearn fly so it worked out.It same like vanilla. You will get fly after you beat may after the weather institute event with team aqua
I remember someone mentioned something like that a long time ago, but I have been unable to replicate that issue myself after extensive testing.I did not reicieve after weather station. Do you know where the Flying Type trainer is on Route 116? Trying to the quest Soaring, Flying.
Dusk is defined as 5-6PM, so it's a tight window, but it is doable. In the future, I can definitely look at addressing those wonkly evolutions.Assuming the gen 3 clock is active, there's no "dusk" time, so I don't think it's possible to evolve Rockruff into its dusk form (see: https://github.com/rh-hideout/pokee...9c1e08debfd7e6f6fde3fa6d953/include/rtc.h#L28). Thoughts on changing the Lycanrock-dusk evolution requirement to just being an Own Tempo Rockruff?
Hey, unfortunately, those items are quest locked just because of how strong they are. Legendaries were made consistent with Gen 3 in that they were one-time battles; for me, I think the reasoning behind that was because it would be weird with how the genies are encountered to have the event repeat. My recommendation for money is to do as many sidequests as you can (which it seems you've been doing a bit of already). Each boss is about $10000, which adds up pretty quickly. Let me know if you have any further questions!Hi! I've been playing through the game, and just beat the last gym -- loving it so far, though it is very difficult! I made the mistake of selling a few of the items like heavy-duty boots. Is there any way to acquire more of those? Additionally, can you rematch legendaries like the genie trio after defeating them rather than catching them? Lastly, it seems like money gets tight when using the slateport level grinder. What is the recommended way to farm money since rematches aren't available?
Thanks! This helps.I remember someone mentioned something like that a long time ago, but I have been unable to replicate that issue myself after extensive testing.
Falkner is in the part of Route 116 which is only accessible through Rusturf Tunnel; it's the bottom left of the dungeon.

Yeah, so those were moved in later updates. Basically, Mega Blaziken was really overperforming, so I moved it to Lilycove. For consistency, all of the other starters had to follow suit as well.Hey im wondering where to get the other mega stones that arent at slateport? I watched a walkthrough from a year or so ago and they had the starters there but not anymore.
The updates aren't necessarily save incompatible in the sense that you can't load into the game and play normally, but some events are triggered and readied at the beginning of a new file. So, the issue would be you might see a person who isn't supposed to be there. If you want though, if you provide me your save, I can pretty easily make it compatible. Also, just to clarify, when updating (and this goes for anyone), please:Thank you so much!!!
For what it's worth, my save right before Mt. Pyre seems fully compatible :)

(1) keep a backup of the original game/save and (2) apply the patch to a clean Emerald Trashman. But yeah, it's no trouble for me to update your save so just lmk :)
Edit: also v1.11 is just some small bugfixes; it's more of a 1.10b but i already had a file on hand named that lol
Oh, its the least I can do for the way the updates are rolled out haha. Let me know if you can get it working. I set all the flags I think need to be set, but if something seems out of place, just let me know and I can update the file again. Also, I checked your quest log and your dex - you're VERY thorough, which I love so much. Thanks for taking the time to enjoy all of the side content haha. Any other questions or comments, feel free to let me know. Keep me posted on your progress :)Thank you so much for the offer!
Save attached - zipped for forum rules. I did play onward from pre-Mt. Pyre a bit.

It's probably the fact that Emerald's times are weird. Daytime in Emerald goes from 12:00 p.m. - 11:59 p.m, which would actually be what many of us would consider afternoon/night. Try evolving during those times and let me know if it works!My Budew is level 46 with max happiness and still hasn't evolved and yes she leveled up during day time. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
That's crazy that your team was comprised of many of your early game captures! I think your team is one of the few instances that does that; did you need to swap parties a lot throughout the game, or were you able to overcome the bosses with your core members? Congrats on an awesome clear, the first Wobbuffet and Pangoro, and welcome to the Hall of Fame :)Man, it was one hell of a ride. I've always been the type of player who unga bunga all the by cheating with Rare Candies and Pokéballs. Strangely, for this game, I didn't use any cheats and played properly. This is the first ROM hack I've played, and I had fun. It took me over 10 days to finish the game, though. I always ended up with 0 Pokédollars whenever I did boss battles, so I used them up first before going for boss challenges.
Let me introduce you to my team. My starter, Swamp the Swampert; Waifu the Gardevoir from Route 102, whom I evolved from Ralts (please ignore the nickname); Knightmare the Corviknight from Route 102, whom I evolved from Rookidee; Po the Pangoro from Route 116, whom I evolved from Pancham (I caught her to use against the first Gym); Kamen X the Heracross from Route 114; and finally, the GOAT herself, Fett the Wobbuffet. Who knew Wobbuffet with Quick Claw and Destiny Bond would be OP? Well, four of my first six Pokémon made it into the Hall of Fame, so I am proud of them.
Corviknight and Gardevoir were always with me in Gym challenges, and Heracross joined starting from the fifth Gym.
Here are the list of items I used for Elite 4 + Champion challenge.
Swampert = Waterium Z
Gardevoir = Gardevoirite
Coviknight = Flying Gem
Pangoro = Leftovers
Heracross = Heracronite
Wobbuffet = Quick Claw

Yay new update! Just downloaded it but still pretty new to roms. Im doing it on delta app on ios and im not sure how to load my previous save from 1.09. Would you be able to explain how to have that in the 1.10 version since it created a new game file not just updating my previous. I just made it to lilycove and don't want to have to start over, especially since im this close to my precious mega stone.Hi, everyone! I just wanted to update anyone still playing or interested in playing that v1.10 has been released (woohoo)!

I had to switch out Gigalith, whom I caught in Rusturf Tunnel as a Roggenrola, because the Champion was a Water type specialist. My core team consisted of my starter, Gardevoir, and Corviknight. I had to rotate the other three members. Dugtrio (Alolan form) was one of my early game core team members. I didn't have to switch out Pokémon a lot, just rotating between the other three until I got Heracross for the fifth Gym and Wobbuffet for the sixth Gym.That's crazy that your team was comprised of many of your early game captures!
