Why would you ask for Maruno to add a new feature to v18 IN THE PROGRESS REPORT OF V18. That's the equivalent of writing down on the menu card of a restaurant that they should add fries to the menu.
 
There are scripts on this site for Gigantimax, Dynamax, and Z-moves.

Though it would be great to have pokemon and their sprites up to gen 8 added into the game.

The "would be", "should be", "maybe" etc all go in the Suggestions Thread.
