Pokémon generation VI Speculation and Ideas!

    Mods, i'm not really sure if this belongs here, and if it doesn't then message me/comment
    I know it will be a while for it to be announced, but i think because the 3rd editions of Gen V are announced and coming this year i guess its safe to say the official Gen V is almost done (official meaning BWB2W2).

    Hey! In this thread you can discuss any ideas or suggestions for generation 6. Such as whether they will have remakes of DP, the names of the region(s) and the games, the version mascots, the legendaries, the plot, or the release date.

    Here are some of my ideas:

    1: a) It could have every single region, where every time you reach a new region you put all but 1 pokemon in that region's box, and then meet the professer and get the pokedex/pokegear/pokenav/pokeetch/c-gear of the region. b) all new region, pokemon, pokegear equivelent, professer.

    2: Here are some of the names i thought of for the game.
    a)Dusk/Dawn/Twilight b)Light/Dark/? c)Comet/Meteor/Asteroid d)Forest/Desert/? e)Life/Death/Afterlife f)Sky/Ground/Sea g)Sun/Moon/Earth h)Good/Evil/Neutral

    3: Professer Names
    a)Pine b)Eucalyptus c)Willow d)Teak e)Mahogany (i like this one most)

    4: Region names
    a)Merna (pronounced maar-nah) b)Kalima (kah-leee-maa)

    5: Additions
    a) Pokemon walking behind/beside(?) you (optional). b) Bigger region based on North America(?)/China/Japan. c) Full team (1-6 pokémon) battling! d) Character customizability. e) Buyable houses with decor and stuff you can buy (like hoenn secret bases but better). f) Multiplayer online safari zone. g) Global trade shop where players can put up pokemon and others can see it, then contact the player who put up the pokemon, and trade. h) Bring back classic tm and hm features (1 time use tms, hms that requite badges)! i) gen IV and V compatibility (trading, transferring).

    Wow, we're jumping ahead now aren't we? Well Gen V has got another two years to go assuming Gen VI is out 2014 but I can't think what more they can do with Pokémon... there is already 649 does that mean by say 2020 it will reach 1,000+ ?
     
    For some reason I think its stopping on V, it just seems right since if R/S is remade on DS that would mean all generations are found on DS save for FRLG but most of their Pokemon can be found in all the other games. If there is a 6th Gen, I expect it will be on the 3DS with amazing visuals. Starting a new generation on a new console, that would mean alot of Pokemon to be inserted and ways to obtain them by trading from NDS, or it might have multiple regions.

    lol yeah i guess its a tiny bit early but as i state above, the official 5 is almost done.
     
    I was wondering when a thread like this would start.

    Here are my ideas for Generation VI:
    • Fire James Turner
    • Character customisability
    • The ability to travel to Sinnoh
    • Entirely get rid of sprites and move on to completely BMDs (3D models)
    • More Wi-Fi trade search specifications
    • Making a following Pokémon optional
    • Guest appearance by Red
    • Bring back Team Rocket
    • Character age
    • House ownership/customisability
    • Can buy houses in any town
    • The option to join the Team Rocket/other evil team
    • The adversary of Arceus (if it isn't Giratina)
    • Bring back bike gears
    • Full-team battles
    • Guest appearance by Professor Oak
     
    As long as I get my RS remakes, I'm happy

    I'd like to see what more ideas they can come up with but I can see Gen VI being the final generation without any remakes unless they remake remakes (FRLG) which would be pointless but in terms of Pokémon there are a few pre/evolutions I'd like to see. Also the 3DS will probably one of the main handhelds for years to come hence why it may end at Gen Six.
     
    ^By Gen VI we will need Sinnoh remakes...how ironic will it be if they ended Pokemon on the remakes of the Games that most people thought were going to be the last...
    I want to see a bigger Region, maybe one based on the west coast I mean they did the two sides of Honshu (Kanto-Johto) and the opposites sides of all of Japan (Hoenn-Sinnoh) so why not the two sides of the Us (Unova-?)
    I can also see a return of pokemon from Gen's 1-4 seeing how the west coast based region will be closer to the Japanese based Regions. Hopefully we will get a dragon Eeveelution.
     
    Personally, I can't see there being any more main series games. I DO however see what we're calling Gen VI to be a new remake of RBY. Not FRLG, but something completely different. And I think it'll be for the 3DS, and come out waaay later than we all expect. Some game that says "you thought Pokemon was done forever, but here's one last hurrah!" Cuz personally, I think BW is the closest series to RGBY, and what Game freak wants is to come full circle. Course, y'know I could be wrong. But hey.
