"Pokémon - I Choose You!" Episode Discussion

Right, we just have it referenced and abused every single time the female lead changes, whether they're leaving or joining in.

Spoiler:

Indeed, as if that's supposed to be some kind of motivation. At least, Misty's issue was valid for a while. Later, it becomes a pastime, "let's see how fast Pikachu will destroy a bike... and everything else."

Otherwise, why else would she bother to tag along (Don't start on me, shippers. Heh.)?

Spoiler:

Edit: Gotcha, Jorah. You're right -- it could have been done better. Then again, look at St. Anne's paint edits, as a counter. Which will be discussed in depth when I post the episode discussion. Can't wait.

I kinda had no idea what it was. I had to see that episode like three times before I figure out that it wasn't part of the first 150 pokemon. Teeheehee Then I just began to wrap my brain on who it was before GSC came out. Teeheehee

I used to think Ho-Oh was Moltres

Ash had a deeper voice at parts, but other lines I thought Ash sounded like a GIRL. Seriously. Loads of lines sound so girlish.

That's true, sometimes his voice seemed completely different.

Like Charaxes, I thought it was Articuno. And on how early they showed a new generation... That appearance was so early, we'll probably never seen another generation cameo that early in the beginning ever again. But it sure was interesting nevertheless.

I remember this one quite well. It wasn't the one that got me hooked, that came later. I only watched it periodically until the battle with Lt. surge then I was hooked for good after that. Then I caught up with what I missed when they re-aired all the first episodes later. I still can't stand all the filler episodes, which we seem to get more of each season.

I laughed at the episode.

"Ratata will come into open fields to steal food from stupid travelers"

"Does that mean I'm stupid?"

Oh, that was delicious. Take that, for those that think Rattata are stupid. Haha. Between that, and the rampaging Spearow flock later on, it shows that "don't underestimate them B-lister Pokeymons." Hehe.

I remember this episode. Although it wasn't the first episode I've seen, I knew how it all began when I viewed this episode. I name this one pure gold.
