Pokémon II

Chris looked around at Seafome. Quilava was rubbing his head.
" Pokemon have a strange sence, they can sence evil thoughts,
but it seems Quilava has his sences mixed up" Chris said nervously.
suddenly Chris sees a firey green figure falling from in the sky.

((OMG I'm so sorry. -.- I have been so lazy this week.))

Lena looked up at the unown, her deep blue eyes connecting with the pokémon's own. She tilted her head and emitted a soft, "Espaa?"
A rush of emotions began to surge through her, and both she and the unown began to glow a pale blue as if connected in some strange and mysterious way.
It was then that Lena saw 'her' again ...

Lena found herself in some strange cave. She had never been there before, but she knew it.
'The other her' was standing atop a small cliff in this cave. 'Her' ivory-blonde hair tumbled down 'her' shoulders, held back from 'her' face with a headband that sported the horns found on the Team Magma uniform. 'She' was wearing that red top with the Magma emblem printed on it, and a grey skirt with a red belt. 'She' was also sporting a pair of jeans underneath that had seen better days.
'Sh'e was looking down upon a mass of people, each wearing a similar uniform, although their hair and faces were covered by hoods. Something wasn't right about them.
"Team Magma! Finally, we have completed our mission! Rejoice, for on the 'morrow, our Father, Groudon, will awaken from his slumber!"
'He'r speech was met with a loud round of cheers.
"All the effort that we have been putting in has paid off, and we will finally come into the paradise that has been promised to us by the Father!"
There was more cheering, and a few people whistled loudly.
"Celebrate, for those Aqua fools have been sent into hiding, and tomorrow, we can prove that Team Magma is good for both people and pokémon!"
The cheering became ear-shattering, although it was drowned out by fireworks that rocketed out from around 'her' and whooshed into the air through a huge hole in the top of the cave. Fire exploded from various points around the congregation, and —

The vision ended as the glow faded. The unown was still looking curiously at her, and Lena stared back, entranced.
Brad groaned in his sleep, and she was jerked out of the trance. She prodded his shoulder to wake him. "Brad?" she murmered. She was sitting on the couch beside him, although on all fours, her head directly above him and about half a foot away. She proceeded to poke his nose experimentally. "Brad?"

Brad muttered in his sleep,

"Zzz.. pass the mayo...Zzz... tacos...Zzzz..." Brad twitched a bit as he was being poked by Lena.

His eyes lazily opened and met with Lena, Brad became awake right away and practically jumped out of his seat.

"Whoa!" Brad shouted.

The Nurse on the other side of the room woke and shouted,

"Quiet over there! Or I'll kick you two out!" She said and then fell back to sleep.

"Whoops" Brad said as he quickly covered his mouth.

He looked down at Lena who woke him up about something. She said his name.

"Lena..."Brad responded back to her.

He went back to his senses, he looked around and the back at Lena,

"Lena what's wrong? Are you okay? Did your cut open? Are you in pain?" He asked her trying to figure out what's going on.

He frantically looked around the room but there was no one there other then him, Lena and the nurse. The Unown seemed to have disappeared.

Lena quickly spun around. "Espaa ..?" she murmered, looking left, then right, then up. There was no sign of the pokémon anywhere.
When Brad asked her those questions, she shook her head. "It does not hurt," she said in a slightly mechanical voice. She looked back to where she had seen the unown. Still no sign of it. She had no idea what it was or where it had come from, but she had a feeling it was going to be nothing but trouble. The vision that she had seen also preyed on her mind, although she did not know what to think of it. That person ... it was not her, and yet, it was ... It was something she could not understand.
She blinked and looked back at Brad. "What is 'mayo'?"

Brad stared at Lena trying to understand her.

"Mayo?" Brad asked her.

He has no idea that he was talking in his sleep.

Brad looked around more and then at Lena again, something seems to be troubling her.

"Alright, maybe we should go.." Brad told her slowly getting up.

He lazily got up shaking a bit. He stretched his arms and yawned and stumbled a bit as he walked. Brad still hasn't had much sleep, but the only thing that matters at the moment is Lena's safety.

They left the Pokecenter with the nurse still sleeping on the counter, she's out cold. As they make it out Brad could see the ocean which is now glowing red. Suddenly a burst of water can be heard exploding and falling on to the ocean with a hissing noise being heard as it lands on the sand.

A siren suddenly goes on. Brad looks around, it's still dark but its not night, must be early morning. The siren is coming from the port, it must be on to warn ships and people. There is however not much of a panic though since no one is out. This all must be tied with the volcanoes becoming active underwater.

"So much for using sea routes..." Brad told himself.

He turned around and saw something huge flying in the sky.

"What the..." Brad said as he saw it coming closer.

The thing in the sky spotted Brad and Lena it flew down towards him rather quickly and there landed a Skarmory. The same one that brought Brad to Fushia before under Lena's orders.

"Oh man, not you again!" Brad shouted.

He looked into his pockets quickly and discovered that he has no Pokemon! Shellshocker must still be somewhere and Drake can't be used on land. Brad simply jumped in front of Lena to protect her and yelled at the Skarmory,

"Shoo, Shoo! Go away!" Brad shouted at Lena's Skarmory telling it to leave them alone.

The green figure smashed into the ground leaving a hole.
Chris grabs Mace's hand and drags him torward the hole.
She was curios to find out what it was. What if its a note
to tell us someone will bring a boat or it's a.... um something

Chris thought. Her Quilava sat behind still mad at Chris.

The skarmory screeched loudly at Brad and beat its wings up and down repeatedly.
Lena's espeon chose that moment to release itself. It flicked its tail then proceeded to explain everything telepathically to the steel pokémon.
The skarmory and espeon had a rather loud conversation, which ended with the espeon crying out loudly and hissing at the skarmory. The bird pokémon hung its head and returned to its pokéball, which still hung on Lena's waist.
The girl seemed very confused as to what had happened, and stayed very quiet.
The espeon turned to Brad, and the gem on its forehead began to glow again.
It says it will not take part in this mission if its real trainer cannot give commands. I do not know about Lena's arcanine, but it is a loyal pokémon. I can only assume that it will choose the same path. I'm afraid you're stuck with me until we find your pokémon. Its ears twitched slightly, then its gem stopped glowing and it shuffled over to Lena's foot. The girl patted the small pokémon's head, and its expression changed, softening, before returning to its orginal, harsher look.

Jake sees Mace's Flygon plummet to the ground, as the volcano continues to shake and the chaos continues. "NO!" he yells. "COME OVER HERE!" He grits his teeth in frustration. Xavier turns around. He had been watching the dragon Pokemon flying around. He replies rather strangely, "but maybe using Fire Blast as a signal wasn't the best of ideas during volcanic activity?" Jake sighs. "You know what, you have a point there. Absol, try Hyper Beam." The disaster Pokemon uses the huge attack straight up into the air, visible from even farther than the Fire Blast was. "There," Jake says, exasperated. "You think that'll get us some attention?" Xavier nods. "How couldn't it?"

Brad jumped when he heard a voice in his head. He looked around in a panic and saw the gem on the Espeon's head glowing, is it talking to him?

"What the? Who..." Brad asked looking around.

However he realized that the Espeon did speak to him, he doesn't know how it was able to though.

"Did your Pokemon just speak to me?" Brad asked Lena.

He then stopped himself from talking. Maybe its the lack of sleep that's getting to him. Brad shook the idea off. He'll just have to agree for now that the Espeon can talk telepathically, now is not the time think about this too much. Whatever the Espeon said is true, Brad has no Pokemon, he'll have to rely on Lena's Pokemon from now until he finds his.

"Hmm... I don't think it's safe to stay out in the open like this. If that steel bird was able to find us so quickly who knows what else might." Brad told Lena.

He looked around and found a small beach house in the tall grass. He brought Lena to it. The wooden house is pretty small and very old, seems to have been abandon for some time now. They'll have to hide out here for the rest of the night.

Brad slowly opened the door and looked around the room in the moonlight that came through the one broken window. The house consisted of only one room. There seems to be an old table with a broken chair, a very old bed and fishing supplies everywhere, however most of this were covered in cobwebs.

"We'll hide out here for the rest of the night." Brad whispered to Lena as he brought her in and closed the door.

"Hopefully no one will find us here. You have nothing to worry about." Brad told Lena and her Espeon.

Brad removed some of the junk and cobwebs that invaded the bed and allowed Lena to sleep on it. After that, he made his way to the chair by the table and rest his surfboard on the ground and began dozing off.

"Good night.." Brad told Lena and he passed right out.

The next day...

Brad opened his eyes as the sunlight hit his face.

*Yawn* " Ahh, morning." Brad muttered slowly waking up.

The sun is in his eyes, he wobbled around in his chair and broke the leg off, making him fall with the chair.

"Gah!" Brad yelled in pain as his head knocked into the wooden floor that had some beach sand covering it.

"Ow, ow..." Brad muttered rubbing his head.

He picked up his surfboard and walked over to the bed that is right across to him with Lena in it, he woke her up.

"We gotta go."

They left the small house and were about to make their way into the city when suddenly Brad saw in the corner of his eye a crowd of people near the beach. He turned and saw everyone looking at something in the ocean under the afternoon sun.

Brad went with Lena to see what's going on. He stepped on his tippy toes and could see someone or something surfing in the ocean with a wave.

"No way..." Brad muttered.

Brad made his way into the crowd and saw what was surfing on the red boiling wave, it's a Marshtomp, his Marshtomp,

"Numa..." Brad said.

"NUMA!" Brad shouted to the Marshtomp.

It turned while it surfed and smiled. It did a flip mid-air as the wave died down and landed perfectly on the shore with his surfboard up.

"Marshtomp!" Numa proudly said.

"Whoa look at that Pokemon." A girl said.

"Yo, is that Poke yours? He's totally rad!" A surf dude told Brad.

Brad apporached his Pokemon.

"Hey how did you get here?" Brad asked his Pokemon

He remembered having its Pokeball on the shelf with the surf trophies back in his room in Cinnabar, however with what happened, he must've been released somehow.

"How did you get here? Were you able to find Shellshocker?" Brad asked.

Numa shrugged and waved its arms around to the cheering crowd.

"Well anyway, I'm glad to see your alright." Brad said picking up his Marshtomp.

"Numa! Numa!" The crowd chanting cheering on the radical Pokemon.

Brad shoved his way into the crowd with Lena and his now only Pokemon and made it back to the beach house. Numa carried its small personal surfboard around with him and moved around slow yet cool. He is a surfer in everyway, much like its Trainer, but more.

"Alright, we got two pokes now." Brad said assuring himself and Lena that everything will work out fine.

"I don't know what happened to Shellshocker, but I'm glad I was able to find my champ Numa here." Brad said introducing his Marshtomp.

Numa was never used for battling, as a matter of fact he was used in surfing contests which explains why he has his own surfboard.

"The ocean... it's still red due to the volcanoes huh? Man..." Brad muttered.

"It's been awhile hasn't it?" A femal voice can be heard.

"It can't be..." Brad thinks.

He turns around and is greeted by a tall woman who is dressed in blue clothes that resemble that of a pirate. She has long curly red hair and a bandana with crossbones in the shape of an "A"

"...How did you find me?" Brad asked the woman.

"Hmph, did you honestly think you can hide from us for long? Especially with what you did to us three years ago." She told him.

" Leave us alone!" Brad shouted.

"I'll leave you alone, once I am through with you!" She shouted.

".. RUN!" Brad yelled.

He grabbed Lena and ran with his Marshtomp chasing after him.

"HEY! GET BACK HERE!" The woman yelled.

She chased them into Fushia City. Brad jumped into a bush with Lena and hid. The woman however kept on running and passed them. Brad popped his head out of the bush and watched her leave.

"Phew, that was a close one!" Brad told Lena.

"Tomp!" Numa said as he popped his head out of the bush as well.

Lena looked curiously at Brad, stroking the espeon that was sitting in a dignified manner beside her. "What do you mean 'close one'?" she asked.
A sigh escaped the espeon's maw. She has really forgotten everything ... but maybe it's better this way. And maybe ... maybe we can all have another chance. If Lena was given this opportunity to start over, perhaps there is hope for everyone. Perhaps there is hope for this world after all.

OOC: Eek! Haven't posted in a while. Busy busy busy, I have been ^_^

At last, he had arrived. The outskirts of Fuschia City, along the beach on the southern coast. After the incident three years ago in which Dragonite crashed through a certain gym leader's ceiling, Luther and his partner mutually agreed to find a new meeting spot. Here. While said Dragonite ran around the beach in small circles for some inexplicable reason, Luther scoured the shore, hoping Sabrina would be here by now. The darkness made it difficult for him to see clearly, but he found his target after a few minutes. Wearing an unmistakable red sweater, the psychic gym leader stood glaring out to sea.

Luther smiled, and began to run in her direction. "Hey! Sabrina! Glad you could make it!" he yelled, glad to see her again. She slowly turned to face him.

"You're late."

Luther stopped as he neared her, with a surprised look on his face. "Late? Wha? We never actually agreed on a time, you know."

"I walked. And I got here before you. You're late."

"Er...I got a bit side-"

Sabrina cut him off before he could finish. "That doesn't matter anymore. We've got a serious issue at hand. Though I'm sure you know about it. After all, you're the one who told me about it." She spoke in a dull, emotionless voice, her face barely moving as she spoke the words. A habit she has, since she takes her job a bit more seriously than Luther. "I've been thinking while I waited for you. I really hate to admit it, but I'm fresh out of ideas." She smiled slightly, trying to lighten the melancholic atmosphere. "What about you?"

Luther merely shook his head. They both sighed in unison, having no clue as to how to proceed.

OOC: Please, 4 lines. That was 3. Make the post at least 4 lines please.

IC:

Brad nodded,

"That's right, that was a close one." He told Lena as he helped her out of their hiding spot.

"Geez.. how in the world were they able to find me?" Brad asked himself, he looked at Lena.

"Close one.. is like close call.. or like... um.. yeah." He said scratching his head.

He looked at Lena,

" If she was able to find me then there could be more of them. I'll have to be on full alert.. but who could of known where to find me? Brad wondered.

Brad couldn't let Team Aqua find her. They may regonize her and who knows what memories they may unleash by doing so. He has to get out of Fushia as quickly as possible.

"Um.. Um... This way!" Brad said pointing to a random direction.

He has no idea where anything is on the mainland, especially since the only part of Kanto he knew of was Cinnabar.

The walked to the east and made it out of the city and was it a walk! It's already late afternoon and they were still in the outskirts of Fushia. What a big city and Brad could of sworn he saw a giant safarri as they were leaving. As they walked he noticed a large green sign,

"ROUTE 15 FUSHIA CITY - VERMILLION CITY"

"Hmm.. I Vermillion City... never heard of it." Brad told Lena.

"Well hopefully we'll be safe there.. let's go!"

And off they go to into Route 15. Little do they know that the woman in blue is watching them.

"Brad... you will pay."

The espeon wandered along leisurely by Lena's side. It scanned the area with its mind, only picking up the faint consciousnesses of the surrounding pokémon. There were a few trainers, and someone else. The espeon dismissed it as unimportant for now.
You should know that Magma will come looking for her. She was heir to the team, and the closest Maxie came to having a child of his own. When she doesn't come back, he'll send people to look for her. Be ready for them. At the moment, we can be easily overpowered.

Brad heard the same voice again, he looked around and saw the Espeon staring at him with its glowing gem.

"Tomp?" Numa asked tilting his head.

Brad nodded.

"Right... I have to protect Lena at all costs." Brad told Espeon.

"Heir of Magma? Wow... who would of guessed?" Brad thought.

By the looks of things however, Team Aqua beat Magma to it. That woman, Brad hasn't seen her since that day... three years ago. He shook off the thought and held Lena's hand.

"C'mon, we better get going." He told her.

They walked into the route and found themselves soon on a boardwalk out into the sea. The ocean seems normal here, the volcanoes haven't touched the water around here yet.

"Mmm... what a sweet ocean breeze." Brad told Lena as he stopped in place and let the cool gently breeze hit his face.

"Right, it's a very nice feeling.." Brad told Lena as he looked out into the sea.

He slowly looked down a bit ripples in the water can be seen being created.

"Hmm?" Brad muttered.

The wind shifted and right there members of Team Aqua can be seen jumping out of the water and on to the boardwalk surrounding Brad and Lena.

"HAHAHA!" One laughed.

"HO-ho-ho!" Another cried out.

"We are the voice of the sea! The Tidal wave of destruction! TEAM AQUA!" They shouted.

Brad jumped in front of Lena to protect her.

"Aww, crud, we're surrounded." He told himself.

"Surrender now! Or prepare to face the power of the sea!" They yelled.

"WHOA! LOOK WHAT IS THAT? IS THAT A WILD BLASTOISE?!" Brad yelled pointing to side.

Everyone looked to see. Brad grabbed Lena,

"Hold your breath." He told her.

He jumped into the water and dove under.

They reached the otherside of the boardwalks and climbed ashore.

"Blah!" Brad said as he spat out some water.

"Are you okay?" He asked Lena as he panted to catch his breath.

"Where are they all suddenly coming from?" He asked Numa.

Numa shrugged.

Lena nodded, and suddenly felt a warm feeling inside of her - pride. She had understood. "I am unharmed," she said quietly. "Is Brad hurt?" she asked.
Her espeon looked ahead. We should get going. Your ruse won't hold up for long. It is not safe to stay in one place for too long right now.
As it spoke, or rather thought, the espeon became aware of the presences on the route starting to become less prominent, as if being sucked away. To itself, it thought, The End must be near.

Brad shook his head.

"No, I'm fine." Brad told Lena and gave her a smile.

He wipped some water off of her face and blushed a bit. He then cleared his throat and nodded with the Espeon in agreement, he is starting to get used to the voice.

"Right, we gotta go." Brad said.

He helped Lena up and they both walked back on to the boardwalks where there they found a fork.

"Hmm what's this?" Brad asked.

There is another sign.

"VERMILLION CITY ^ LAVENDER TOWN >"

"Hmm..How the way things look. A city might be crawling with Aqua..." Brad said, he dared not to say Magma.

"A town would be our best bet I would imagine..." Brad said.

They headed away from Vermillion and made it to Lavender town. After crossing the last of the boardwalks and passing through the routes gate they made it to Lavender town. The town is gloomy and spooky. It looked pretty dark and does not look the friendlist. Everything in the town looked so creepy with its gothic buildings. However what stood out the most was a giant tower that shot up from the land and towered over the entire town.

"Where in the world are we..." Brad muttered.

"Why you are in Lavender Town!" Said a small young girl.

"Whoa! Where did you come from?" Brad asked her since she came out of nowhere.

"Tell me... do you believe in ghosts?" She asked.

"Ghosts? Please..." Brad replied.

"Then what's that white hand doing on your shoulder?" She asked.

Brad jumped and practically flipped.

"Whoa! Hey! That's not funny!" Brad screamed a bit.

The little girl laughed a bit, she's very creepy.

"You better believe in ghosts if you wish to stay here." She told Brad.

"Heh... I'll uhh keep that in mind.." Brad said slowly backing away.

What a strange town, hopefully they'll be safe here for now...

The espeon's tail flicked, and a satisfied look spread across its face. This is Lavender town. It's famous for the Pokémon Tower where the deceased pokémon are buried. Also famous for its 'resident ghosts'. It smirked as Lena looked around. She suddenly seemed very sad, and looked into nothingness as if there were something there that only she could see.
She looked at Brad. "Where ... where are we ..?" She smiled. She knew what she had said. "Where are we?" she asked again. The strange look of sadness had passed, and her smile was brighter than it had ever been, and rather than the smirks that she had often been seen sporting before she had lost her memory, this one was a smile of genuine happiness. The small things, like understanding what she and other people said, she could now truly appreciate.

"Appearently, we are in a town full of ghosts and dead Pokemon." Brad bluntly said.

"Aren't we the lucky ones?" He said sarcastically.

He looked back up at the very tall tower.

"So this is the Pokemon Tower. Never heard of it."Brad thought to himself.

He looked around and noticed the creepy little girl has instantly vanished, only giggles can be heard in the wind.

"Espeon you weren't kidding about resident ghosts huh?" Brad told Espeon.

"Alright, it's already getting dark, we better find a place to stay. I'd hate to be out here during night." Brad told Lena.

He walked around, the town is very small. There seemed to be a hotel in the very small town, it'll have to do. The hotel alone is pretty scary and is in the outskirts. Old ugly trees can be seen around the hotel with branches that remsemble arms that looks are are ready to snatch you away.

Brad gulped, he's scared stiff of this town and wished he went to Vermillion instead. However it's too late now. As it got darker a Houndoom in the distance can be heard howling.

"Must walk faster, must walk faster." Brad chanted as he practically ran to the hotel.

The hotel is very gloom and ugly and above all else just plain creepy. Murkrows can be heard gawing at the top of the hotel and flying around in circles as if there is something dead around the area. Brad opened the door, it creaked as it opened. Brad held Lena's hand and went in.

The door slammed shut behind him on its own. Brad jumped.

"WHOA!" Brad screamed.

"Um, hehehe." He tried laughing it off.

"MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" laughter can be heard echoing in the darkness.

"Who....who's there?" Brad said timidly.

A candle lit up, there can be seen a creepy skinny man dressed like a turn of the century bulter. He held a sinister face and a curled mustache.

"Hehehehehe.. welcome, WELCOME! Hehehe, this is Lavender Hotel..." The man said laughing with thunder being heard behind him.

Brad slowly made his way to the counter.

"Um.. we... um.. like a room.." Brad said nervously.

"WUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!! Yes! But of course!!! It will be $10 a night, yes?" He asked them.

Brad nodded and paid the man upfront.

"Hehehe, good, very good!" He said laughing his creepy laugh,

"hehehehehe, here are your keys, room 14 for the girl and 13 for you sonny! Wuah-wuah-WUAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!" He laughed with thunder and lightning behind him.

Brad gulped,

"Let's get to our rooms..." Brad said backing away from the man behind the counter.

The room can really be seen now, it was huge. There's a very large chandelier handing above everyone with cobwebs all around it. Underneath it there is a red carpet that looks dull and worn out. Right by the counter is a large staircase made of marble. It seems that the hotel was pretty high class at one point but is just now plain creepy.

The two made it up to the 2nd floor and walked down the dark long hallway until they found their rooms.

"Alright... well you're 14 Lena." Brad told her.

He opened her room for her and gave her the key.

"This is your key, remember to lock your door and also remember to come to me if anything goes wrong!" Brad told her.

"As for me... I am number 13... aww man..." Brad muttered as he opened his room.

"T-try to have a good night sleep." Brad told Lena.

"I can only pray that I will..." Brad told himself.

Lena nodded and stepped into her room with her espeon, locking the door behind her and sitting on the bed. Her espeon put its paws on her knee. "Who is 'she'?" Lena suddenly asked her pokémon.
The espeon avoided eye contact with its trainer. I know 'her', it told the girl. I know her well. But if you can complete the mission that has been set for you, then there will be no need for 'her' anymore.
Lena tilted her head. "Espaa?"
The espeon looked at her. Go to sleep, it commanded, and swamped Lena's own mind with its own. The girl relaxed, then slumped down in a heap, fast asleep.
Lena ... It is cruel for me to say, but it might be best that your mission remains incomplete.

"Wah!" Mace yelled as Chris pulled his arm. "Wait, what about Rika we left her behind." Mace's Dark Side on the uther hand was thinking about all that had happened. "This has been quiet a day, I t wouldn't suprise me if anything else happened." He said quietly to himself. Meanwhile Glider had noticed the Hyper Beam attack from Jake's Absol. It swooped downed toward Jakeand greeted him. "Gon, Flygon, Fly." The Pokemon said as it met wth Jake and Xavier. Glider flapped it's wings in enjoyment to see someone it knew from 3 years ago. It was excited and curious at the same time. It looked at Xavier and then back at Jake. It was obsereving the situation in it's own strange way.
