OOC: what if its a wild encounter post llike this one, do you pretend that you know the pokemon and battle it anyway, or doo we wait for you to name it?

OOC: sorry about the errors. I am a writer and know how to use spell-check and all, but I still make mistakes. (My editor would probably kill me for all these errors) So I will try my best to do better in the future.

BIC: Emilee looked at her cousin with awe. "No way this is so cool! Its Farfetchd right? Thank you so much. I promise you I will take care of it. I may even beat you in a poke match some day!" She smiled up at him. "Bye Gary! I hope to se you again soon, and when I do I will have a trophy just for you!" she ran from the lab excited to begin on her new journey. "This ought to be an interesting adventure." she said to herself. then she remebered "Oh yeah I better let Fetcher out of his pokeball." She took the pokeball and said "Come on out Fetcher!" She stood there for a moment waiting for something to happen. "Huh?" she tossed teh pokeball up in the air. "Fetcher come on out!" this time the pokeball opened. She fell backwards in surprise. "fetch!" cried the pokemon. Emilee stood back up and walked over to Farfetchd. "Hey! So your farfetchd huh? Lets see what Dex has to say about you.." she pulled off her bag and accidenlty dropped it. "Oh no!" she cried. Farfetchd walked over to her it looked like it was laughing. "Hey this is not funny." she picked up the items one by one and put them back. She noticed her moms case. "Oh! I forgot about that." she picked up the case and opened it. The necklace sat inside still shiny. She slowly pulled it out and attached it to her neck. "There tahts better she said. Then she grabbed the pokedex. Okay what does it have to say about you." She opened it up. Her grandpa had shown her how to use it when she was little. She was not surprised to hear the electronic voice say "Farfetchd: The sprig of green onions it holds is its weapon. It is used much like a metal sword." she glanced back at her farfetchd who was staring at her a perplexed look on its face. "Ok Fetcher are you ready to go on an adventure with me." "fetch" Farfetched screeched and Emilee smiled. "Ok then lets be off." Farfetchd followed behind obediantly and they were off.

Okay, minor spelling errors as usual but its nothing to worry about.

"Ahhhhhh, what a night," Grecko yawned as he woke up and began putting on his traveling clothes. "Sweet todays the day i get my first pokemon!" he shouted with joy as he headed down the stairs into his living room. "Well son are you ready?" his father asked him noticing the boy leaving the house. "Yes I am!" Grecko said smiling to his father. "Good now get going and make me proud" the father said as he patted his son on the back.

After leaving his house Grecko made his way to Gary Oak's lab and stood outside the door for a few seconds. "Hmm well todays the day i get out from under my fathers shadow" Grecko thought to himself as he entered the lab. He noticed the proffesor with a cart of pokeballs and made his way over to him.

Professor Gary Oak welcomed Grecko into his lab, he sat him down and gathered all that was required. He knew that he was running low on Pokémon but he still had a little Vulpix that he would be glad to give away to this novice trainer.

"Okay, I'd like to give you these to begin your journey" said Gary. He pulled out a Pokéball which had a fire symbol on it and a starter pack. This pack contained some useful items for novice trainers.

Items obtained:

- Map of Kanto

- Pokédex
- Pokéball x5
- Potion x1
- Pokémon food rations x5

Jake finally reaches route 101. "Lets see if i can catch poliwag a friend" said Jake. Jake started to walk to the next town, looking for pokemon, when he spotted a ______

OOC: what if its a wild encounter post llike this one, do you pretend that you know the pokemon and battle it anyway, or doo we wait for you to name it?

Yeah, you basically do it like that. Also, I'd like to point out that you need atleast two paragraphs of roleplay per post in future. This post doesn't reach the basic rules of Pokécommunity so I could be held responsible if you guys don't obey the rules.

There was an rather perculiar looking Growlithe standing in the field. It had neat red and black fur which blew in the wind. It didn't mind the trainer, Growlithe knew that the trainer may want a battle which suited him just fine.

Jake could also see a small flock of Pidgey flying above him, these tiny bird Pokémon glided down and landed in a tree that wasn't too far off into the distance.

<What do you want? If its a battle, don't expect me to go easy on you!> said the Growlithe bravely.

Jake walked over to the Growlithe. Growlthe took a battle stance, since he knew that Jake wanted a battle.

"Go Poliwag!" Shouted Jake, throwing the pokeball in the air. Poliwag came out. "Poliwag!" it said. "Ok Poliwag, this is our first battle, but take it easy ok?" said Jake."Poli!" Answered Poliwag.

The wild Growlithe jumped into the air and used ember.
Poliwag dodged, but the ember hit Poliwag's tail.
"Ok Poliwag, Use Bubble!" yelled Jake. Poliwag did just that.
Growlithe flew back, but didn't seem to be shaken. Growlithe Came back with a tackle. "counterattack with Bubble!" shouted Jake. They both hit eachother and both flew backwards. "Hang in there poliwag, and use Watersport!" yelled Jake. With an enthusiastic "poliwag" Poliwag used Watersport. "Now use Bubble Again!" yelled Jake.
Poliwag used Bubble, and after that, Jake used a pokeball.

"Thanks Proffesor" Grecko said happily as he stared at the pokeball containing his first pokemon Vulpix. Grecko left Gary's lab and began to walk back towards Viridian City since it was the only way to get to Pewter City.

"Hmmm i'm almost back to Viridian City, maybe I should let my Vulpix out and get to meet it. "Vulllllll!" the fire pokemon yawned as it came out of it's ball. "Hey there little buddy, my name's Grecko and ill be your trainer" Grecko said as he began petting the pokemon. Vulpix looking as if it accepted the trainer's words, began to move into the pets and seemed happy. "Haha, I think will get along just fine Vulpix" Grecko said happily.

All of a sudden Grecko heard a noise in the tree behind and he watched as a pokemon began to jump out him. "Vulpix you ready!" Grecko yelled to his pokemon as he tried to figure out what the pokemon was.

The Pokéball shook from left to right. However, the Growlithe wasn't weak enough to be captured and thus it broke out. Growlithe laughed at the Poliwag, although it was a Water-type it was obvious that Growlithe had more experience than the little Poliwag.

<Hmph, you're going to have to try harder than that if you want to catch me!> said the Growlithe.

The Growlithe struck back with a powerful Ember attack, knowing that he would have to try harder if he hoped to defeat the Poliwag. He knew that the trainer was a novice but it was obvious that he had a disadvantage in battle due to his weakness against water-types.

Out of the tree popped a wild Seedot, it was swinging off the tree but it quickly fell to the ground. The Seedot had bright blue eyes and it seemed to be quite an innocent Pokémon.

<Hi, want to play?> said the Seedot to the tiny fire Pokémon.

Above Grecko was a small flock of Pidgey that soared past, these Pidgey were being led by a Pidgeotto that must of been the leader of their group. The small flock landed in a field past the tree that the Seedot had wondered out of.

They headed straight out to Viridian. "Okay Fetcher you ready for this?" "Fetch!" Emilee gulped. This really was exciting, but her nerves were beginning to get to her. "Okay according to this there should be a gym right up ahead Umph." she knocked into a large steel door. Rubbing her head she looked up. "Oh! This must be it!" she gpt up excitedly then she noticed that her pokemon was laughing again. "Hey! Its not funny this is serious. Come on Fetcher its time fro our first real battle." Farfetched stopped cackling and looked at the door slightly nervous. "Okay I guess we just knock..." she held up her hand it was shaking horribly. She pulled it back. Farfetchd watched with a bit of interest it turned its head. Emilee raised her hand to knock again. This time she patted on the door lightly. There was no answer. "Hmmm..I wonder..." her thoughts were interupted by a large pang noise. "What?" she looked down and saw Farfetchd hitting the door with its root. "Fetcher thats not exactly helping. Farfetchd continued to bang on the door. "Fetcher!" she said loudly then suddenly she heard a voice behind her. " first time pokwmon trainer arent you." she turned around to see an old man standing staring at her. After regaining her composure she replied. "Well yes actually I just started today." The old man nodded. "Uh huh thought so. Your pokemon there seems to be a little undertrained." She lookeed ta the man in surprise. "What?!?" she said with a slight bit of rage. "I said its undertrained, gees you young'ins never listen." Emilee felt slihtly insulted. "I heard you just fine now why did you say my pokemon is undertrained." The old man shook his head. "I am afraid its quite obvious him banging on the door like that...seems he does not know what hes doing." Farfetchd turned hearing this a red mark appeared above his head. "Do you really plan to take the pokemon challenge like this young lady?" Emilee replied "Waht do mean like that?" "With an untrained pokemon." another red mark appeared above farfetchd head. "Hes not untrained." "Oh really...hmph..." the man went over to farfetxchd and touched his wing. That was the last straw for Farfetchd he grabbed his root and hit the man hard on the head. "FETHCER!" Emilee cried, but she could see the man was not hurt, not even a scratch. "What?" she stared at the man an inquisitive look on her face Farfetchd stared too no longer angry just confused. "That is an untrained pokemon." was all the man said.

"Oh you stuborn little.... Poliwag, finish off this joker, Use Bubble!" yelled Jake, frustrated. "Poli!" said poliwag in a serious voice. Poliwag used a bubble attack, but Growlithe Dodged and used Tackle. Direct hit. Poliwag was obiously shaken from the blow, which left him vulnerable. Growlithe charged Poliwag, And poliwag jumped in the air in the nick of time. Poliwag landed behind Growlithe. "Use bubble with all you've got!" said Jake. It was a direct hit, but growlthe was still standing. "Man this thing is strong!" said Jake. "Ok, now use water sport!" Poliwag did. growlithe used an ember, but it wasnt very effective.

Both of them were struggling to stand, but Jake knew this was an opprotunity to catch this pokemon. "Poliwag are you okay?!?!" shouted Jake. "Poli" poliwag said in a detrmined voice. Jake knew poliwag was detrmined, but Jake knew that one more hit could be trouble. Suddenly, He got an idea! He set down 3 pieces of food for Growlithe. Desperate, Growlithe. Trudged weakly to the food. "Now use bubble!" shouted Jake. "Poli" answered poliwag. Growlthe looked up to the attack, and got hit in the face. "Go pokeball again!" said Jake. The Ball sucked up the weak growlithe, and Jake waited patiently to see if it was successful or not.

Grecko noticed the pokemon that had fallen out of the tree was a seedot. And for some reason the seedot walked over to the trainer's Vulpix and began to speak to it in pokemon. "SEE" the seedot said to the Vulpix. "Vuuuuul" the Vulpix said back. "ummmm what the heck are they talking about?" Grecko said to himself confused. Grecko than noticed a bunch of pidgey's and pidgeotto that had landed in the tree.

Grecko pulled out his pokedex and took data on the three differen't kinds of pokemon he had just seen. He than decided he wanted to catch the seedot. "Alright Vulpix use tackle!" Grecko said to his pokemon. Suddenly the Vulpix went from being nice to hostile towards the seedot and used a tackle attack on it. The seedot taking the hit rolled backwards and went unconcious. "Well that was easy?" Grecko said to himself before preparing to throw a pokeball. But than he realized that the pidgey's were staring at him and he realized he was in trouble. The pidgey's darted out of the tree at Grecko and his Vulpix. "Oh crap!" Grecko hollered as he and his Vulpix began to run away. Grecko picked up the Seedot and carried as they ran into an open field ahead. "PIIIIDDDGGGGEEEYY!" the bird pokemon screeched as they began to fly at the boy.

"Crap we gotta get out of here" Grecko said as he saw a cave down below. Thinking fast Grecko and his pokemon dove down and took cover, while the Pidgeys hovered above. "See?" the seedot yawned as it woke up looking around. "Ahh Seedot are you ok?"Grecko asked it. "SEE SEE" it chanted back. "vVVull" the Vulpix yelled feeling happy. "Well we have to figure a way out of this your were done" Grecko said. Suddenly the Vulpix and Seedot ran outside the cave and began to attack the horde of Pidgeys. Seedot used bullet seed and Vulpix used an ember. The two attacks caused the Pidgeys to fly away. "Wow you guys are great! Hey Seedot would you like to come with us?" Grecko asked the pokemon giving it an offer. The pokemon shook it's head and Grecko threw a pokeball at it. "Hmm let's see what happens next" Grecko said to Vulpix as he watched the ball move back and fourth.

Sean smiled softly as he trudged down the path with his hands in his pockets, eyes wandering all around as he headed toward the large, white building that was pretty much in front of him. Today he was about to become a pokemon trainer, and although he had done his normal routine of getting up, showering, eating; he knew the rest of the day would no longer be ordinary.

Walking up to the door, Sean knocked, his fists landing on the wooden door shaking just the slightest bit out of excitement and nervousness. It took only a moment for a man to open the door. He had brown, spikey hair, a serious expression and was wearing a white coat. He eyed Sean up.

"New trainer?" he grunted.

Sean nodded. "Sean Judge at your service," he said with a small drawl, grinning at the older man.

"Gary Oak," the man said. "Proffesor Oak to you, Mr. Judge. Come along, I've been waiting for you."

Sean followed the man into the lab, looking around curiously and adjusting his beanie self conciously. "Do we get to choose what pokemon we want?" Sean asked.

"No," Gary said simply, handing over a few items with a smile. "Your pokemon has already been chosen for you." He handed over a red and white pikeball with a small lightning symbol on it.

"Let me guess, a dragon type?" Sean joked.

Gary's strict smile grew a little warmer before he turned serious. "No, but it is a fine pokemon, and I expect you to treat it with respect," he said seriously, nearly pushing his face into Sean's.

Sean jumped back a little, holding the pokeball gently. "Of course," he said, slightly irritated. "I know that pokemon aren't toys or weapons, and I want to go on this journey to make friends with them, not use them!"

Gary nodded at Sean's outburst. "Good lad," he said, waving Sean off. "Now away with you."

Staring at the odd professor, Sean ran out the door and toward Route One, a little scared that the man was a bit out of it.

"What a wierd guy," Sean mumbled, panting a bit from the run. It was no short distance from the lab to the start of the trail. Turning toward the a wide open area, Sean allowed a large smile to appear on his face.

Right now was the start of his adventure, and even though Sean was just taking his first step onto the path, a rustling in the bushes alerted him that even though he had just started, he would have no easy beginning. All Sean could do was wait and watch the shaking bush...

As usual, you arent breaking up your paragraphs. You need to deal with this issue and it's a new paragraph everytime someone else speaks too.

"Oh you stuborn little.... Poliwag, finish off this joker, Use Bubble!" yelled Jake, frustrated. "Poli!" said poliwag in a serious voice. The Ball sucked up the weak growlithe, and Jake waited patiently to see if it was successful or not.

The Pokéball sucked the Growlithe in. It had a small, weak smile on its face as the Pokéball did so as it had accepted the trainer to be worthy of training him. The Growlithe was very stubborn and didn't want to be trained by anyone unless they were the best of the best.

There were still three Pidgey in a tree to the right of Jake. In the distance a bush shook and out popped a Rattata.

"Hmm let's see what happens next" Grecko said to Vulpix as he watched the ball move back and fourth.

The Pokéball shook from left to right, and then centered into the middle and locked. The Seedot had been caught, although this Seedot was fairly young and weak. This tiny Pokémon just wanted to play his whole life, rather than battling.

In the distance there were a small flock of Pidgey, and a Rattata. These Pokémon were common to the area but they could still make a good choice for a novice trainer.

Space out your paragraphs please.

Sean smiled softly as he trudged down the path with his hands in his pockets, eyes wandering all around as he headed toward the large, white building that was pretty much in front of him. Out of the bush popped a small Oddish. This tiny Pokémon was holding an Oran Berry in her hands incase she was attacked. As she was a wild Oddish she knew that trainers would challenge her if she left the comfort of her home, this was fine with her.

<Look at that, a pathetic novice> heckled the Oddish.

Note: You need to space out paragraphs a little more too and your spelling and punctuation is incorrect in some places. Download Open Office or another spell checking pad to fix these problems.

Please feel free to roleplay, but I will not be replying until the OOC thread has been approved so I can add profiles and Pokémon in party.

OOC: How exactly do you want me to space out my paragraphs? I do it everytime a new person talks or the detailed paragraph get's too long...

Sean grinned as he saw a small pokemon with many leaves on its head walk out of the bushes. It was his first meeting with a wild pokemon as a pokemon trainer! From the looks of it, it appeared to be an Oddish, and it was holding a berry in one of its many leaves on its head.

"Od oddis od," Oddish smirked, looking up at Sean.

Bringing out his pokeball, Sean threw it toward the Oddish, allowing his pokemon to appear for the first time. With a burst of white light, a small pokemon with a yellow and black striped body appeared. It had two horns on its head that sparked occasionally.

"Ele," the electric pokemon stated, beating its chest a few times as it grinned up at Sean.

"So you're my first pokemon," Sean said in wonder. "Oh shi... Look out!" he blurted as the Oddish ran at Elekid, leaves glowing green as they hit Elekid in the head and draining his energy.

"Ele," Elekid barked angrily, jumping away in irritation. It sneered at the grass type before looking back at Sean for guidance.

"Uh... what can you do?" Sean asked, giving a small shrugg in apology.

"Ele," Elekid sighed, shaking his head in amusement. Turning back to the charging Oddish, Elekid ran at Oddish at an astounding speed, knocking it back a good ways and making it go sliding across the ground.

"Oood!" Oddish cried out in pain, unsteadily getting back on its feet. It wore a determined expression as it once again charged, leaves glowing as it prepared for another Absorb attack.

"Quick, do something else!" Sean ordered quickly.

Grunting, Elekid began to pump his arms quickly, making them appear like blurred circles. "Elekid!" Elekid cried out, power generating off of him as he sent the Thundershock attack at Oddish, stopping it in its tracks for just a moment.

"Oddi!" Oddish cried angrily, slapping Elekid back with its glowing leaves, taking away more energy.

"El," Elekid growled, protecting his head with his raised arm.

"Elekid, try another Quick Attack!" Sean ordered quickly, noticing that the Thundershock attack hadn't done nearly as much damage as the Quick Attack.

Growling, Elekid charged, becoming a yellow blur as it jumped at Oddish, using his foot to kick Oddish away as he reached the grass type. "Ele!" Elekid laughed triumphantly as it landed on the ground.

"Oo," Oddish said weakly, wearing a small smirk as it reach for the berry it had dropped on the ground from the force of the attack.

"Don't let it get that!" Sean said quickly. "It'll probably heal it or something!"

Nodding in understanding, Elekid used his Quick Attack, once more become a blur to ram into Oddish just before it could pick up the berry. As Oddish bounced away, Elekid squished the berry with his foot, lloking very pleased with himself and even going so far as to stick out his tongue at the defeated Oddish and cross his arms over his chest.

"Odddish..." Oddish groaned, lying on the ground weakly. It really shouldn't have picked a fight with this trainer, even if he was a newbie...

"Uh, I know you won and all," Sean said to Elekid, "but did you really have to squish the berry? You could have eaten it yourself."

Elekid looked shocked for a moment before punching his open left hand with his right in a "Darn it!" expression. "Ele," Elekid sulked before grinned hesitently up at Sean.

Sean grinned back. "Nice to meet ya," he said easily. "I'm Sean and, as I'm pretty sure you know by now, I'm your trainer."

"Ele," Elekid laughed, rolling his eyes as he offered a handshake to Sean, which he easily accepted.

"Come on," Sean said, walking along the path and away from the battle scene, even though Oddish lay there forgotten, and toward a new beginning and new challenges. In fact, Sean was pretty sure he would meet a few more challenge's on this path before he even reach the city.

"YES!" said Jake. "I caught a growlithe!"

"Poli!" said poliwag in agreement.

"I have to get you to a pokemon center" said jake sheepishly, looking at poliwag. "And this growlithe is pretty weak too." Ignoring all other pokemon in the area, Jake continued on to the next city.

After about one hour of traveling, Trainer and pokemon finally reached the pokemon center in Vemillion City. After Nurse Joy healed the exausted pokemon, he began to travel the city, looking at the trainer school they had there, and looking at the shops.

They slept in the pokemon center that night, and Jake let growlithe out of its ball.
He did this so Growlithe could sleep and become aquainted with its new trainer.

After exiting the cave and realizing he had just narrowly escaped the angry flock of Pidgey, Grecko started on his path to Pewter City again. "Hey Vulpix good job fending off those Pidgey's" he said smiling to his pokemon that was walking beside him.

"You to Seedot, although I don't think you really want to be used for battling huh?" the trainer than said to the pokeball containing his newly aquired Seedot. Up ahead Grecko spotted a rattata and decided he should catch another pokemon that he could actually use for battling.

"Vulpix, Tackle!" Grecko commanded his starter. "Vul!" the fire pokemon chanted as it ran towards the Rattata. As the Vulpix was about to hit the Rat pokemon head on it swung it's tail out and smacked Vulpix in the head. "Raaaaatttaaa" the pokemon shouted in laughter as the Vulpix got knocked backwards.

"Ahh, ok Vulpix use ember!" Grecko shouted. "Vullll!" the pokemon shouted as it sent flames towards Rattata. The flames covered the pokemon but it actually stood it's ground, and didn't even seem to flinch. "Oh crap!" Grecko said to Vulpix who was looking tired from the battles earlier.

The Rattata charged at Vulpix and collided head on with it, causing it to fly backwards into a tree. "Grrrrrrrr" the Rattata let out instead of it's usual name saying. "Vulpix use another tackle!" Grecko said realizing he should finish this battle soon because the Rattata seemed very angry.

Vulpix went and exchanged a head on tackle to the Rattata this time which made it slide back a bit, but not to far. "vul vul vul vul" the Vulpix panted because it was really exhausted. "Ehh, Vulpix is really tired should i keep going?" Grecko contemplated to himself.

Then his Vulpix turned around and shook it's head signaling that it wanted to keep going. "Alright Vulpix use another ember than finish with a tackle!" Grecko shouted hoping the battle would be over after this.

Vulpix shot another thing of flames towards the rat pokemon and than headed straight at it with full speed. The angry Rattata once again brushed off the flames, although this time it did weaken the pokemon. Then the Rattata also charged at the stampeding Vulpix. "VULLL!" "RAAAAAA" the two pokemon yelled as they butted heads. "AHH Vulpix!" Grecko exclaimed as he watched his pokemon collapse along with the Rattata.

Grecko ran over to his Vulpix and commended it on a job well done, he then returned it to it's ball. "Alright, you Rattata i'm not gonna let you get away after seeing how hard my Vulpix battled just to capture you!" Grecko said as he threw a pokeball at the struggling Rattata.

He then watched to see if he would capture it.

Nice, good to see you're not going to capture everything you encounter. Profiles are finally up so now I can order and maintain this rp.

"YES!" said Jake. "I caught a growlithe!"

"Poli!" said poliwag in agreement.

Good work, try to make your IC scenes a little longer and you'll be great.

Ah, I'm enjoying reading your roleplay alot. You achually lengthen it and it makes for an interesting read, I'll sort this capture out but then I am starting my profile.

The Pokéball shook from left to right, it then drew into the center and clicked shut. The Rattata had been caught due to it being in such a weakened state. Although the Rattata was quite an aggressive Pokémon, it was also quite Impish.

Unknown to his trainer, this Rattata was special. It knew a certain move that made it unique from all the other Rattata, Flame Wheel. This was an Egg-move, certain Pokémon around Kanto had been discovered using new moves ever since Pokémon from other regions came to Kanto.

-----

NOTICE:

Good work, the profile page is up in the OOC lounge. Please view it guys! I'd encourage this since I have given out some Egg moves at random times and I will continue to do this. Egg moves will be on certain Pokémon, although they will be slightly more rarer from now on. You can also get Egg moves from breeding with a professional which will cost $2,500 and you will be able to select an Egg move that the result is capable of learning.

For example, a Rattata could learn Flame Wheel but a Rattata couldn't learn Thunderbolt from breeding. This would only work with TMs.

If data is wrong, please contact me and tell me what to correct. I'm going to watch Death Note but when I get back I will start my roleplaying. I'd also like to point out that the towns of Kanto are: Pallet Town, Viridian City, Pewter City, Cerulean City, Vermillian City, Lavender Town, Celadon City, Saffron City, Fuscia City and Cinnebar Island. I'd just like to point out that these are in the order that you usually visit them in the games, since someone posted that they had just arrived in Vermillion from Pallet Town. This is a common mistake, I almost overlooked it.

"Woah, check it out," Sean said excitedly, pointing in the distance. Off in the distance, they could see the beginning images of roof tops, signifying that they were close to the next to the next city, Veridian City.

"Ele," Elekid said with excitement, horns giving a few sparks.

Sean had noticed that as they walked and got to know each other, whenever Elekid felt a strong emotion, his horns would give out a certain spark. The sparks varied from time to time, and Sean was just beginning to tell which each spark meant. When he couldn't figure it out, he always relied on Elekid's voice to help him understand the emotion.

"Kid!" Elekid barked out suddenly, pointing to a tree. Below the tree was a pile of twigs, large bushes and dirt all clumped together. "Ele," Elekid growled as something from within the den moved about, growling back as well in agitation.

Sean grinned in excitement. "Look's like we have ourselves another challenege! Elekid, use Thundershock to help move it along."

"Ele," Elekid nodded, pumping his arms and sending out the electrical attack.

From within the bushes, the being groaned in agitation, and before Sean knew it, the bushes shook furiously as whatever it was stalked out from within it, revealing itself to be...

OOC: Okay excuse the errors in the old mans speech. Its part of his character. Hes an old sailor who has traveled far and is there to teach her a lesson.

BIC:Emilee glared at the man, but walked away. He called to her. She continued to walk.

"Hey young'in! Get back 'ere!" he continued to beckon her but she ignored him. Until her Farfetchd turned back and trotted toward the man. "Fetch!" the Farfetchd cried. Emilee turned she could see the man was holding something...her pack! Embarrassed she ran back and took the pack from his hands. She blushed. "Uh sorry about that." The old man smiled and shook his head.
"No harm done, no harm done, just need to be a little more careful okay?" he grinned a nearly toothless grin.
"Um right. I really am sorry though." she put her pack on her shoulder her face was flush red.
"No no I should be the one apoligizing for before. I did not mean to 'urt yur feelings. I was once a trainer like you and I lurned alot from my fathers criticisms. Guess I were just takin' it out on you lass." The old man spoke witha heavy accent. "Obviously some type of sailor." she thought to herself.
"Well it was no problem I just did not like you insulting my Farfetchd. Tell me one thing though...how did you know I was a new trainer?"
The old man laughed."Well that were an easy task lass. Ya see I were once a trainer like yerself as I said. I went out lookin' for adventure and traveled all throughout this crazy place. I battled the gym leaders one by one and got perty far too. Then I lurned of this here town I come here searching for the leader and by golly I ran smack into me true love."
Emilee looked at the old sailor inquisitivly. "What does that have to do with me."
"Well iffen ye listen Ill tell ye." Emilee sat back and listened to the mans tale. It was long and boring, but indeed it did have alot to do with pokemon. He told her of how he had traveled off to distant islands and met all types of pokemon but he always kept close to his love(who turned out to be his lapras Sora) "So ya see this 'ere gym is empty and 'ats 'ow I knew ya to be a new trainer." Emilee nodded she kind of understood now though it was hard to decript all the old sailors words.
"So could you perhaps help me out? Um I mean...your a trainer right maybe we could battle." she looked at her Farfetchd who was dancing around the man.
"Well I suppose I could 'er try. But I warn ya lass I am not one to be trifled wit'." Emilee smiled this was her first real battle. "This should be great practice!" she said to herself. Then nodded to the old man.
"Ok we'll be usin' one pokemon a piece no time limit." the old man laughed as he said this. He was not about to play it easy on the girl, but he did not want to hurt her neither so he decided to make it a fair match. "Ready to go?" he said. Emilee nodded. Farfetchd was already standing in the center of the clearing fired up and ready to battle. "Ok lets start then!" he pulled out a red pokeball and tossed it up in the air. "Go Dean!" he shouted as the ball hit the ground. There was a small puddle in the center of the field and out from it appeared his pokemon...a Goldeen!

Grecko walked over to the pokeball containing his newly aquired Rattata. "Hmmph, you were crazily insane to catch, but i'm glad I did." Grecko said to the pokeball containing it. He than looked to his Vulpix's pokeball and decided he had to run to Viridian City, which he knew was up ahead.

"Ahhhhhh, i'm here!" Grecko said as he reached the gates of Viridian City. He ran into the pokemon center and ran up to the nurse. "Hello, we heal your pokemon, may i have yours?" the lady said to Grecko. "Mhhhm" Grecko nodded handing her his pokeballs.

After getting his pokemon healed Grecko decided he should go show his the dad the three pokemon he already caught. Grecko entered his house and his dad was standing right in the living room. "Well son, it's good to see your back from getting your pokemon. How did it go?"

"It went fine dad I got a Vulpix" Grecko said to his father as he released his starter pokemon. "VUuul!" the fox pokemon yawned as it rubbed itself up against Grecko's leg. "Hmmm, seems kind of girl don't it son?" His father stated. "What no, my Vulpix is a great pokemon and it's already helped me catch two pokemon!" Grecko said as he released his other two pokemon.

"SeeSEE!" "Raaaaaaaaaa" The two new pokemon said as they came out of their balls and ran over to Vulpix. The three pokemon began to play together although the Rattata still seemed a bit hostile.

"Your pokemon seem very weak son, you have a lot of training to do if you want to be as good as me" Grecko's father than said. Feeling angry at his father Grecko let out one huge angry statement.

"Nooo! Dad. Listen hear you may think my pokemon are weak, and they may be. But im not going to be as good as you. I'm going to be twice as strong, and i'm gonna prove everything you ever said to me wrong." Grecko than returned his pokemon to their balls and began to leave the house.

"Son how long have you felt this way?" Grecko's father said grabbing ahold of his shoulder. Grecko turned around and hugged his dad. "Listen, I love you dad but you need to realize i'm a differen't person than you. I'm gonna train my pokemon the way I want, and i need you to respect that." Grecko stated to his father.

"Son I understand and i'm sorry I just want you to be the best you can." His father said. "Don't worry dad I will, but it will be my way. I have to go though dad, i'll see ya after my adventure is over." Grecko said as he let go of his father and walked out the house. Grecko's father stood their and watched as his son walked off. "Hmmph he's gonna be just fine." The father said as he turned around and went inside.

As anxious as Jake was to face the gym leader, He knew he might not be strong enough. "Well, maybe we can train today." said Jake entheusiasticly. Jake had the feeliing he was being watched. Suddenly, A pokemon jumped out from the tree above him...

I mean your paragraphs, look at them. You need a space between each one, not just pressing enter once. Make your paragraphs spaced out like the others. I didn't mind this roleplay post, but it still needs spaces like I said.

Good paragraph, nothing major so I wont mention anything.

WARNING. One paragraph is unacceptable, as stated earlier its my account and thread on the line if you violate the Pokécommunity rules. Two+ In future, please.

On a lighter note, please revise Pokémon Fire Red, Leaf Green, Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold or Crystal because it's Route 01 and not Route 101. You could also look for a map of the Kanto Region on google.

Out of the bush popped a tiny worm Pokémon with bright red antenae on its head, this particular Pokémon was a Caterpie. The Caterpie didn't take kindly to strangers entering her territory but how could she protect it? She was obviously much smaller than the human, and much weaker too.

*image removed*

<Get out of here! This is my tree!> said the Caterpie in her naitive tounge.

She didn't look impressed that a human had walked past her tree, even if he had done nothing wrong. The Caterpie quickly released a smelly odour from its antenae. This smell was horrid, it was a repellant that was inside of all Caterpie. This Caterpie was ready for a fight. It didn't matter that she was weak because she was brave, and she cared about her home too much to let a human trespass upon it.

Grecko walked around Viridian City for a while after leaving his house. He then decided to sit down by a tree and take a break for a while. Grecko released all of his pokemon and told them to enjoy themselves before they headed out again.

After relaxing for a while Grecko returned all of his pokemon to their pokeballs and headed off towards Viridian Forest. "Haha once i get through Viridian Forest i'll be at Pewter city which is my first big stop" Grecko said with a smile before entering the forest.

Looking around the forest, Grecko realized it would be home to many bug pokemon and hoped he would be able to catch one or two of them. He started walking off further into the forest when he heard a voice from behind. "Hello there, if your a trainer would you like to battle?" the voice said.

Grecko turned around to see a Bug Catcher, and than he said "Ya i'm a trainer, and sure i'd love to battle you." "Alright will have a one on one battle and i'll use my Weedle!" the Bug Catcher exclaimed throwing out his Weedle.

"Hmm alright and i'll use my Rattata!" Grecko said as he released the Rattata he had recently caught. The Rattata gave Grecko a nasty look which let Grecko know it still wasn't happy it let itself get caught.

"Weedle use poison sting!" the bug catcher commanded to it's pokemon. The Weedle than flung itself forward and hit Rattata square on with its poison sting attack. "Rattt.." the pokemon exclaimed in pain. "Ahh Rattata get up and use tail whip!" Grecko yelled to his pokemon.

The Rattata ran forward and smacked the Weedle with it's tail. "WEEEE" the pokemon yelped as it rolled backwards. All of a sudden Grecko's Rattata began to shiver and become weaker. "Ah what's going on?" Grecko said in confusion.

"Your Rattata's become poisoned from my poison sting attack earlier!" the bug catcher laughed. "Crap, ok Rattata we have to finish this fast!" Grecko shouted to his pokemon. "Weedle, use string shot and follow up with a poison sting to finish it off!" the Bug Catcher shouted.

All of a sudden Rattata was wraped up in strings and Grecko looked suprised. The pokemon struggled to get out the strings but couldn't get out. The weedle than flung itself forward again to use it's poison sting attack. "Ahh Rattata we got to do something!" Grecko said watching it's pokemon struggling and realizing that if it got hit with the poison sting it would more than likely faint.

The Weedle got close to the Rattata but all of a sudden the Rattata burst from the strings, in a ball form with fire spurting from it. "What the!" Grecko said as he watched his pokemon slam into the Weedle thus knocking it out. Grecko pulled out his Pokedex which told him that Rattata had used a Flame Wheel attack.

The Bug Catcher accepting defeat told Grecko good job as he walked off further into the forest. Grecko walked over to his Rattata and said "Well I know I wasn't very helpful to you during that battle but i'm sorry and I promise it will never happen again. So will you continue to travel with me and lend me that awesome Flame Wheel attack of yours?"

The Rattata looked down and then looked back at the trainer with a smile. "Raaa" the pokemon said as it accepted Grecko's offer and put itself back into it's own pokeball. "Ha alright Rattata you deserve a rest anyway" Grecko said as he began to walk off into the forest hoping to maybe find some pokemon as awesome as his Rattata.
