well not so bad guys, I'm gonna work on some stuff soon too, been very busy. LaZ, Suggestion make the beta up to vermillion? so you get the first badge in kanto at least :)

Also,
you should change which town do and don't have fly spots. The ones that don't should be hacked from route 4 or 10 just for the fly spot. Or you could just change the maps so a less needed, easy to get to town doesn't get one but a town that is hard to get to (ie: blackthorn) gets one
 
the flying positions for johto are not a problem. they all work.

well, I shot linkandzelda the other day...so he won't be posting updates for a while..
But expect to see new intro sprites and backsprites :)
 
I told you I shot link..so he's not...I'm fine though..
the hacks going okay, we're both busy with RL so things are going a little slow, but it'll be fine :)

Well, A small anouncement, Linkandzelda's been released from hospital...the bullet hit his Iron hard abs and bounced off..
so Twilight he's ok, he's training in the hyperbolic time chamber as I speak..

YAY! Johto! I can't wait to play!

Thank you for making a Johto remake (and with such a pretty palette and tiles!). Just a few questions; will we be able to play as a heroine, and will the Night/Day and Pokegear features be available?)
 
no day and night system sorry, not yet at least, heroine is availiable...I may provide screens with her...
Pokegear fetures are still being planned to ensure similar features work ok
 
ok slight insight, on what I'm doing these few days.
I have to redo the intro sprites
add 110 new sprites..
remix trainer encounter music
then see how much tileset space is left, maybe add in a mart, PC and gym if there is enough space,
if not, I'll add a gym and add another set of trees.
well thats all for now, me and LaZ should be working on this all weekend :)

but i'll start with the intro sprites because I find them easy,
then remix the midi's,
insert sprites and do tiles when I get the rom on sunday

I hope you finish, or at least end at the defeat of red.

Also, will the new areas be early or late in the game?
