Can I play the game without using a starter? Does any other Pokemon evolve and not freeze? You should make Oak give you the National Dex instead of the regular dex to fix the glitch.

Yeah good call,this kinda seems disapointing and depressing,I can't get past the first trainer when you go south from Violet City,because after the trainer is defeated the game crashes.Maybe link should consider the IPS instead of the UPS.

Hey,maybe we should stop sending him requests,becuase I heard that LaZ is very upset.How far have you made it on LC?
 
i just tried using a cheat to get the national dex and the bug still happened to me so i don't think that that's the problem.

The forms there to be there (No rush to use it or anything, just putting mine in), and I'm in Azalea Town

EDIT: LaZ, just take your time. We understand that there are problems, and (most) of us have patience :P
 
EVERYONE STOP SENDING LINK REQUESTS.He is not in a good mood right now,he can't afford the time to insert your trainers because he has to worry about the hack first and foremost.Im sure he agrees.

you didnt fill out the application completly. you didnt put the location or the battle text...

edit: i dont mind people sending me requests its ok. still do it. they wont be insert immidatly anyway. just in time for th enext beta. i guess these rill be in the beta 2 rerelease...

Really how,I battled a traner south of Violet and won than the game crashed.Oh and I love the remixes especialy the rival one,I always wanted to hear the rivals music remixed!

I'm going to hate to say this, but it freezes at the rival battle when you try to leave Azalea Town (I got up to Bayleaf, it froze on me :()

It also did that on the previes betas,hmmm,ohhh well.
 
HELP! When I try to patch the game using the UPS patcher it says: "Failed Input checksum is invalid." How can I make the thing patch successfully? I like IPS better.....>_<'

If it says that than it means your firered rom isn't a good one,yu'll have to download a diff rom
 
well has anyone tried to evolve any of the other pokemon because for me

pidgey, ledyba, and poliwag all froze it as well when they got to evolution.

so maybe you damaged the evolution script.
 
Bad news on the bugs. Don't give up. Maybe take a break from this for a few days. I found few things i dont think have been mentioned, 1st encounter with the rival the overworld isnt there before or after battle. just after i chose my starter i went to look at its stats and when i opened the pokemon menu it went black n crashed... Anyway its still by far the best hack out there and u will do it in the end :)
