Well by graphic artist, we don't really need any recoloring. We need actual fakemon, fusions, and whatever else I listed on the first page.

Well, i can do fusions well. I'll make a few then PM them to you, as for the others, i can do tiles pretty well, i can fuse trainer sprites and overworlds alright.

I've finished my Kyogusaur frames, its only a prototype so i need a beta tester to test the animation to see if it all works well.

do they look alright, i'll work on the backsprites some other time.

PS. i didnt do a female one since i'm not sure as to whether it will be genderless or not.

To apply to be a graphic artist, post in this threat, with examples of your work. As many examples as you can preferably. You can post recolors, since having the ability to recolor is an invaluable skill, but the most important things at the moment are:

- map tiles (Pokémon Emerald style)
- fakemon/fusions (includes front sprites, back sprites [BW-style], and preferably icons)
- layout component designer (somebody who can basically make layout images, I guess... we have a layout but having multiple styles or something is nice)
- trainer sprites (for Story Mode characters)
- overworld sprites (namely for the custom trainer sprites)

Please don't feel bad if we're critical.

Well, we don't really need animated sprites. xD Also, it's not formatted correctly for how 2.0's animated spritesheets work. Here's one taken from TPM: https://www.tpmrpg.net/newtpm/images/animated/spritesheet/pokemon/Normal/Pikachu.png (120x120 per sprite, 10 across, etc.)

We are going to need more than recoloring samples. Recoloring is merely a basic fundamental to spriting and is necessary for most other forms of spriting. Unfortunately, being good at recolors is not going to be enough to get a graphic artist position because we need more than recolors. (We have most recolors ready, actually.)

Feel free to post samples of recoloring, but posting other things will be much more helpful.

I think I'm going to need some more examples, preferably more recent things. A more complicated fusion perhaps? What you have up so far are fairly simple so I can't really judge your experience with that.

I'm taking a break from Spriting untill my Laptop is set up.

Time for some crit. I'm gonna try to get straight to the point rather than go on a long rant on what is wrong, etc.

Spoiler:

- It seems that a lot of your more recent uploads are photoshopped sprites. I don't really consider photoshopping sprites as a form of spriting. And what spriting I do see does have photoshop with it in many cases, but I'll focus on the spriting part.

- The shades need more contrast in some cases, namely the sprites with all those yellow dots.

- The yellow dots need better placing. It's almost painful to look at.

- Looking at a scratch attempt, your outline work isn't horrible, but could use a lot of improvement. The shading could also use a LOT of work. As well as color/shade selection. (Looking at Flower-thing...)

- The Dark/Light rule was broken in a Giratina Recolor I see. The shade selection has the 'neon' effect, which in some cases does look good, but normally should be avoid.

- The Neon effect actually seems consistent through some of your recolors. The Neon effect isn't a good idea for scratches and more serious sprites. Try making more 'natural' recolors.

- When adding any type of markings to a sprite, keep in mind the shape/curves/etc. of the Pokemon.

- In your fusions, you lack any sort of reshading on and around the fused parts.

So, first thing...

- Your palletes. The neon look is consistent all the way through. Basically, you need a lot of work on your shade selection. (Which is extremely important in scratches).

- There is no reshading in your fusions, and they don't flow very well.

- Your scratch thing... well, I'm not going to lie. Is horrible. Shading, colors/shade selection, outline is pretty messy, and it breaks the size limit.

Well then, that is it for now, hrm? I'll check by later tonight. ^_^
