Introduction
This project came to life when our yearly April Fools at the Advanced Rescue Team Discord centered around the idea of a dungeon the player could not finish,
because it just kept going on forever. "But what is we tried to make it good?" Well 4 months of polish, balancing and a score system later here we are.
The pmd infdev offers a competitive singleplayer experience, a lot of quality-of-life the vanilla game needed and updates to existing mechanics as well as
bug fixes for issues the vanilla game had.
Features
The very first infinite dungeon out there
Your enemies scale with your dungeon progression
Every run gets a score and the end to tell you how well you did
A rank based on your score where your rescue rank once was.
Updated mechanics
Updated status effects that now truly impact your gameplay
Uniform Item pricing
Gummies that give experience
Total control over your partner
Updates to some traps, moves, Pokémon and and their walk data
Quality-of-life
Quickly select your moves with L+D-Pad and use them with L+A
Weather damage does not interrupt your movement
Your mailbox acts as a Kangaskhan Statue
Walking speed inside dungeon is either vanilla fast or even faster
Custom fun
There is a lot of new stuff here like music, sprites, items and custom code
An alternative patch if you want to change up your runs
A "choose to be the enemy" feature that lets you use the Transfer Orb on your team
Documents
The documentation is in a password protected file in the release.
The game tells you the password after ~15 minutes of playtime.
And yes, that means you need to play the game before you can read it.
This is a design decision, please respect it.

FAQ
Q: Help, I cant stop switching back and forth between my 2 team members!
A: Only the leader can toggle this feature o or off (L+Start)
Q: Cant you just tell me the password? Why do I have to play this game to see the docs?
A: No. If you are that impatient, this is definitely not the type of game meant for you.
And if you ask again or tell somebody who asked, I will steal your kneecaps :D
Q: I get an error when I save. Help?
A: RRT uses 128k flash to save. If this does not fix it you may want to look into a more accurate
emulator.
Q: I cant recruit new members, how do you expect me to git gud?
A: You get a Transfer Orb every time you clear the first dungeon. It works on your team members.
Q: Is there a Discord?
A: No. If you want to talk to others about your experience, use the Advanced Rescue Team Discord.
Q: I have recordings of a good run. Where is the leaderboard?
A: We keep these in the speedrunning section in the ART Discord. If we got enough runs we will
open a leaderboad on speedruns.com rendering the first option obsolete. Hopefully.
Q: My rescue rank changed even though I did not do a mission.
A: Congratulations. We added a ranking system for your best run. The next one wont be that easy.
Q: Why does this happen when I idle in a dungeon?
A: Why shouldn't it?
Q: [X] isn't balanced at all! What is your excuse?
A: Sounds like a skill issue. Git gud!
Q: Wait, I cant bring my own very overpowered save file into this game?
A: No.
Q: Which ROM is the base?
A: The American/Australian Red Rescue Team. I put patch instructions in the release, you know.
Q? I bought a cartridge of your game to support you!
A: That's funny, because that is definitely illegal. Whoever sold you that thing is in no way
associated with us and you will probably be unable to save your progress on it.
Both of us got scammed. If you want to support us, share this post with people.
Q: Why is there a patch for 3ds vc?
A: Mostly because I came to like playing that way. Also some mobile gamers prefer buttons and
most phones dont have many. The capture card gang members already have setups, so its
easier for them this way. Remember to change the file extension to .cia
