Anything above level 70 won't obey until you defeat the Champion.Um, even if I obtain every gym badge in this game, my starter Pokemon always disobeys regardless...
Right after the battle? I genuinely have 0 idea what causes that issue. It's been reported previously, but I've never been able to trigger it myself.
So I'm not alone.Welp, there it is. Third time playing this hack, playing the most recent version, which is supposed to address the SS Mako freeze and still getting hit with this game breaking bug.
It's a terrible pity because without this ridiculous roadblock I would consider this to be my favourite Gen II hack. The region is wonderfully varied, the enemy teams have obvious careful thought put into them, the effort taken to craft a tight and memorable game are very apparent, but it's disappointing to have this happen again after an otherwise very enjoyable playthrough.
I know it's a pain but in subsequent releases, please do consider just removing the mechanic where Emily follows you, assuming that's what causes the bug. It's not worth it.
Nope, and like I said, it's such a shame because this really is a fantastic game otherwise. In spite of never making it to the league because if this bug, I can't truly say I regret my experience with it, but it's a very frustrating thing to happen again, given this was said to be fixed. So I'm not alone.

It's really nostalgic seeing this romhack get up by someone comment. Really recommend for people's who still not playing this![]()
